According to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/oversight.house.gov\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/US-Bankruptcy-Court-Complaint.pdf\">bankruptcy court documents<\/a>,<strong>\u00a0James Biden received these loans \u201cbased upon representations that his last name, \u2018Biden,\u2019 could \u2018open doors\u2019<\/strong>\u00a0and that he could obtain a large investment from the Middle East based on his political connections.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On March 1, 2018, Americore wired a $200,000 loan into James and Sara Biden\u2019s personal bank account \u2013 not their business bank account<strong>. evidence subpoenaed from bank accounts belonging to Hunter Biden, the son of President Joe Biden, and James and Sara Biden \u2013 the brother and sister-in-law of the President.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>A document that we\u2019re releasing today raises new questions about how President Biden personally benefited from his family\u2019s shady influence peddling of his name and their access to him.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Bank records obtained by the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability have revealed a $200,000 direct payment from James and Sara Biden to Joe Biden in the form of a personal check.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Here is some important context about this check we\u2019ve obtained in our investigation:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>In 2018, James Biden received $600,000 Biden.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Even if this was a personal loan repayment, it\u2019s still troubling that Joe Biden\u2019s ability to be paid back by his brother depended on the success of his family\u2019s shady financial dealings.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Some immediate questions President Biden must answer for the American people:<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Does he have documents proving he lent such a large sum of money to his brother<\/strong>\u00a0and what were the terms of such financial arrangement?<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Did he have similar financial arrangements with other family members<\/strong>\u00a0that led them to make similar large payments to him?<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Did he know that\u00a0<strong>the same day James Biden wrote him a check for $200,000, James Biden had just received a loan for the exact same amount<\/strong>\u00a0from business dealings with a company that was in financial distress and failing?<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The House Oversight Committee will soon announce our next investigative actions and continue to follow the money.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The bank records don\u2019t end here.<\/em><em>There is more to
