Ted Macie, who is an active-duty officer, a Navy health administrator, and a medical recruiter, shared the information Monday in a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Risemelbourne\/status\/1729337006914990526\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">video\u00a0<\/a>on X, formerly Twitter. Macie presented his claims over concerns that have repeatedly been emphasized by his wife, Mara Macie, who is currently running for Florida\u2019s 5th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives.<\/p>\n<p>In his video, Ted Macie claimed that the U.S. military has experienced a major increase in heart-related issues with helicopter and fixed-wing pilots. Macie claimed that Defense Department data shows a 937% increase in heart failure, a 152% increase in cardiomyopathy, a 69% increase in ischemic heart disease, a 62% increase in pulmonary heart disease, a 36% increase in hypertensive disease, and a 63% increase in other forms of heart disease compared to the five-year average before 2022.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-media-max-width=\"560\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">USA Wow, The Insanity Continues Navy Medical Officer reveals Covax Vaccine Related Heart Issues. These numbers are astounding. &#8220;Myocarditis up 151%, Ischemic heart disease up 69%, pulmonary heart disease up 62% and Heart Failure is up 973% <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/KoPb82uUbr\">pic.twitter.com\/KoPb82uUbr<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 (@Risemelbourne) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Risemelbourne\/status\/1729337006914990526?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 28, 2023<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>In a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MaraMacie\/status\/1729143645784146375\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">statement<\/a> released on X, Macie\u2019s wife criticized the U.S. government\u2019s treatment of military troops during the COVID-19 pandemic, argued that there is currently a high level of mistrust in the military\u2019s leadership, and demanded accountability as \u201cthe only answer.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo you may have seen my wife\u2019s recent post, and I want to elaborate on that and give you an example as to why reinstatement, back pay, and apologies isn\u2019t enough,\u201d Macie said in his video on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Macie\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegatewaypundit.com\/2023\/11\/u-s-navy-medical-officer-exposes-defense-department\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">told\u00a0<\/a>The Gateway Pundit, \u201cThe responses to our concerns from the DoD have been memorandums, letters.
