Tax reform worked. He was right about some of China. &#8230; He wasn\u2019t wrong about some of these critical issues, and that\u2019s why they\u2019re voting for him.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>More via the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/us\/democratic-presidential-candidate-calls-trump-supporters-thoughtful-5572506?utm_source=partner&amp;utm_campaign=ZeroHedge&amp;src_src=partner&amp;src_cmp=ZeroHedge\"><em>Epoch Times<\/em><\/a>;<\/p>\n<p>Because they are fellow citizens,\u00a0<strong>Democrats should refrain from disparaging Trump voters as they have been doing, he said.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>One host agreed, saying<strong>\u00a0it\u2019s \u201chard to hate 75 million of your fellow Americans.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mr. Dimon said that framing Trump supporters as \u201cdeplorables\u201d who are \u201chugging onto their Bibles and their beer and their guns\u201d is not going to help Democrats.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>\u201cI mean, really,\u00a0<strong>could we just stop that stuff and actually grow up and treat other people with respect and listen to them a little bit?<\/strong>\u201d Mr. Dimon said. \u201cI think this negative talk about MAGA is going to hurt Biden\u2019s election campaign.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>\u2018Get in the Game\u2019<\/h2>\n<p>Later in the Mr. Phillips interview, the reporter asked, \u201cBut you would rather have though have Biden in the White House again than Trump in the White House, yes?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cOf course,\u201d he said. \u201cAbsolutely.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She then asked if Mr. Phillips\u2019 bid for the White House has made President Joe Biden stronger \u201cbecause that was one of your goals.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHave you succeeded in that?\u201d she asked.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m trying to extend an invitation to the president to get in the game because if you want to be the president again, the only way to even possibly win is to get out there,\u201d he said. \u201cListen to voters.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She pressed on, asking if his bid for the White House made President Biden \u201cstronger or weaker.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Democrats have surrendered \u201chundreds of hours of prime-time TV\u201d over to Republicans because they have a competitive race, he said.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf Democrats had a competitive race right now, which I\u2019m trying to create, we would have energy,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>However, President Joe Biden, he said, \u201cis doing nothing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd if he\u2019s not going to debate, if he\u2019s not going to answer questions . . .. How many interviews has he done? He\u2019s not doing town halls. He\u2019s not showing up. So, yes, I\u2019m trying to do him a favor to show up.\u201d<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Mr. Phillips said he would back President Biden \u201cin a heartbeat\u201d if he would \u201cget in the game.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>\u2018He Might Beat Biden\u2019<\/h2>\n<p>Trump recently stated at his rally in New Hampshire that the Democrats at the New Hampshire primary should vote for Mr. Phillips.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201c<strong>He might beat Biden, wouldn\u2019t that be nice? I think Democrats should vote for the congressman just to send a signal [that] you don\u2019t abandon us.
