as tech giants have been labeling pro-hydroxychloroquine content as &#8216;misinformation&#8217; &#8211; most recently banishing a press conference by a group of doctors touting the drug from just about\u00a0<strong>every platform<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>To that end, Yale epidemiologist Dr. Harvey Risch\u00a0<strong>has accused Dr. Anthony Fouci of waging a &#8220;misinformation campaign&#8221; in his opposition to the drug.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fauci &#8220;has been maintaining\u00a0a studious position that only randomized controlled trial evidence has any value,&#8221;<\/strong>\u00a0Risch said, &#8220;and\u00a0<strong>everything else he calls anecdotal<\/strong>.&#8221; &#8211;<a href=\"https:\/\/justthenews.com\/politics-policy\/coronavirus\/yale-epidemiologist-accuses-fauci-running-disinformation-campaign\"><em>Just The News<\/em><\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>In a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/justthenews.com\/politics-policy\/coronavirus\/yale-epidemiologist-says-hydroxychloroquine-key-defeating-covid-19\">Newsweek Op-Ed<\/a>\u00a0published last week, Risch called HCQ &#8220;<strong>the key to defeating COVID-19,<\/strong>&#8221; and said it was particularly effective in conjunction with one of two antibiotics and zinc, saying it has &#8220;shown to be highly effective.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Risch said the drug\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/political\/yale-epidemiologist-hydroxychloroquine-could-save-100000-lives-if-widely-deployed\">could save 100,000 lives<\/a>\u00a0if widely deployed<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"max-width-video-wrapper\">\n<div class=\"fluid-width-video-wrapper\"><iframe id=\"fitvid329970\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/wr8CpMudkrE\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Meanwhile,\u00a0<strong>Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Commissioner Stephen Hahn noted that some medical observational studies &#8220;suggest a benefit&#8221; to the drug<\/strong>, also according to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/justthenews.com\/politics-policy\/coronavirus\/fda-boss-some-studies-suggest-benefit-hydroxychloroquine-covid-wont\"><em>Just The News<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;<strong>So the FDA looks at\u00a0all what we call &#8216;the totality of data,&#8217;<\/strong>&#8221; Hahn said in a Tuesday morning radio interview with Florida radio host\u00a0Drew Steele.\u00a0&#8220;There are observational studies that suggest a benefit. There are five randomized trials that did not show a benefit to hydroxychloroquine, both in the prophylactic setting and in the treatment \u2014 both early and late.&#8221; &#8211;<a href=\"https:\/\/justthenews.com\/politics-policy\/coronavirus\/fda-boss-some-studies-suggest-benefit-hydroxychloroquine-covid-wont\"><em>Just The News<\/em><\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>More recently, Rep.
