Here’s why the U.S. Congress is sanctioning <\/strong>the ICC for issuing
\nan arrest warrant for war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu.<\/strong><\/h1>\n

SOTN Editor’s Note:\u00a0<\/strong>A guilty psychopath will always strike out at its accuser out of sheer guilt.\u00a0 This is what they do, and often with great success.\u00a0 However, that wily tactic will not work in this case because the countless crimes against humanity committed in Gaza by the IDF are simply too egregious and well documented to be covered up.\u00a0 Not only is the Netanyahu regime finished, every enabler of the Gaza genocide will surely receive their comeuppance.\u00a0 Quite significantly, the karmic slack is tightening faster by the day for everyone because of the rapidly accelerating End Times<\/em> scenario overtaking the entire planetary civilization.\u00a0 Which means that Israel is about to be busted upside the head with a divine four by four.<\/h3>\n

The U.S. Congress has fully supported Israel’s military
\ncampaign, with both appropriated funding and military
\naid, against the Palestinian citizens residing in Gaza
\nthereby becoming an accomplice with intent to carry
\nout the ongoing genocide.\u00a0 Furthermore, much of the
\nGOP House leadership has given their full and
\nunconditional moral support to Israel in their odious
\nwar against the defenseless Palestinian people.<\/h2>\n

#2<\/strong><\/h1>\n

As the head of the Executive Branch, President Joe Biden
\nhas provided military aid in the form of weaponry and
\nammunitions which have been deployed against the same
\ncitizenry.\u00a0 The exact amount of war funding, materiel
\nsupport and military assistance from the U.S. Armed
\nForces offered by the Biden administration has yet to be determined, but it has occurred throughout the duration
\nof the genocide.<\/h2>\n

Bottom Line<\/u>:<\/strong> If Netanyahu gets convicted of genocide,
\nthen these two American entities are quite exposed to
\ncharges of being co-conspirators in a highly organized
\nplot to commit mass murder on an industrial scale.
\nHence, Congress was directed to take an offensive
\nposition against the ICC in order to intimidate the
\nprosecutors to minimize the likelihood of any future
\nindictments.\u00a0 Additional pre-emptive strikes by the
\nculpable Congress will likely be made to fend off other
\nretributive legal actions against U.S. officials and\/or

House Republicans are reportedly working on a bill to sanction the International Criminal Court, after its top prosecutor sought the arrest of both Israeli and Hamas leaders in connection with the Gaza conflict.<\/p>\n

ICC chief prosecutor Karim Khan has\u00a0accused<\/a>\u00a0Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant \u2013 as well as Hamas leaders Yahya Sinwar, Ismail Haniyeh\u00a0 and Mohammed Diab Ibrahim al-Masri \u2013 of\u00a0\u201cwar crimes and crimes against humanity\u201d<\/em>\u00a0in Gaza and Israel.<\/p>\n

House Speaker Mike Johnson, a Louisiana Republican, called the ICC move\u00a0\u201cdisgraceful\u201d<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0\u201clawless.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cIf unchallenged by the Biden administration, the ICC could create and assume unprecedented power to issue arrest warrants against American political leaders, American diplomats, and American military personnel,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0Johnson said on Monday, demanding the White House\u00a0\u201cuse every available tool to prevent such an abomination.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Michael McCaul, the Texas Republican who chairs the House Foreign Affairs Committee, told Axios on Monday that a bill to sanction the court is already being drafted, based on the February 2023 bill\u00a0introduced<\/a>\u00a0by Senator Tom Cotton, an Arkansas Republican.<\/p>\n

Cotton was among the dozen senators who\u00a0wrote to Khan<\/a>\u00a0earlier this month, reminding the ICC prosecutor that the US has a law on the books allowing\u00a0\u201call means necessary and appropriate\u201d<\/em>\u00a0to defend any Americans \u2013 or allies \u2013 sought by the court. The 2002 law was nicknamed the\u00a0\u201cHague Invasion Act.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

While some congressional Democrats have urged a hard line on the ICC, two members of the Progressive Caucus \u2013 Pramila Jayapal and Mark Pocan \u2013 have argued it was not up to Congress to dictate to an independent court.<\/p>\n

According to Axios, Netanyahu has urged US President Joe Biden to\u00a0\u201cintervene\u201d<\/em>\u00a0to prevent the ICC from approving Khan\u2019s warrant request.<\/p>\n

Biden has already denounced Khan\u2019s motion to seek the warrants as\u00a0\u201coutrageous\u201d<\/em>\u00a0and protested that it created\u00a0\u201cequivalence\u201d<\/em>\u00a0between Israel and Hamas. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken insisted that the ICC\u00a0\u201chas no jurisdiction over this matter\u201d<\/em>\u00a0and questioned\u00a0\u201cthe legitimacy and credibility of this investigation.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Although the US was one of the creators of the ICC, modeled after the Washington-backed war crimes tribunals for Yugoslavia and Rwanda, Congress never ratified the Rome Statute. The court has jurisdiction over the West Bank and Gaza, because the Palestinian Authority accepted it in 2015.<\/p>\n
