\nextent he describes Israel’s ability to stay on its current course
\nas being vulnerable to the political realities in the US.<\/p>\n
That means, despite the overwhelming support of both parties,
\nmost of Congress and all three top presidential candidates, the
\nforces lining up against the Zionist government are about to
\novertake it….arguably in biblical fashion.<\/p>\n
It’s a must read, including for those who strongly agree with Bibi’s
\nOld Testament approach to the conflict. Even if the US were not
\nsignificantly weakened by its own severe internal problems, the
\nembrace by Israel’s leadership of a morally dubious strategy for
\ncombating the aspirations of the Palestinians created enormous
\neconomic, political and military problems for the Zionists.<\/p>\n
Even ignoring the contentious religious implications that motivates
\nBaldwin to challenge the belief system of Christian Zionist true
\nbelievers, the practical considerations outlined by Ritter provide
\nenough clarity to show why this experiment appears doomed.<\/p>\n
We are far from the end to the killing as the momentum of ideology
\npropels the conflict forward into more death and destruction.<\/p>\n
What needs to be emphasized from my perspective is that these
\npeople are all driven by biblical prophecies which they rely on
\nto justify their behavior.<\/p>\n
(That includes Baldwin as well as other Christians who reject the
\nHagee interpretation implicit in the Scofield Futurists with its
\n“false doctrines of premillennial dispensationalism!”)<\/p>\n
To me it borders on insanity and reminds me of what Frank Herbert
\nwrote in Dune: “It’s the prophecies that enslave us!”<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\nThat includes Islam as well as Judaism and Christianity. It probably
\nincludes the Hindus, too, but the world is not on the brink of extinction
\nright now based on wars in India but in the Middle East where the
\nparticipants think it’s “Gog and Magog” versus Israel.<\/p>\n
What does seem clear now through the fog of war is that those who chose
\nto endorse the Zionist agenda in the name of Judaism with support from
\nfundamentalist Christians are faced with a grim future rather than the
\npositive End Times vision embedded in their Bibles.<\/p>\n
Lurking over the whole discussion is the Samson Option in which Israel
\nchooses to take down the rest of the world along with itself.<\/p>\n
This possibility cannot be ignored in light of the extreme rhetoric of the
\nZionist Zealots and their actions on October 7th when they deployed the
\nHannibal Directive against Hamas and their own citizens (hostages) as
\nwell.<\/p>\n
It’s a more than troublesome situation with the need for spiritual
\nguidance and rational behavior by the key actors greater than ever.
