They Wanted Him Dead: Rep. Scott Perry Grills Director Cheatle on Height of Short Women Assigned to Protect President Trump \u2014 And She Has No Answers<\/h1>\n

On Monday, Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle appeared before the House Oversight Committee to answer questions about the so-called security breaches that led to an assassination attempt on Trump during his Butler, Pennsylvania rally on July 13.<\/p>\n

She stonewalled during the interview. She\u00a0refused to answer any pertinent questions<\/a>! Cheatle did not answer any important questions and blamed it on \u201can ongoing investigation.\u201d<\/p>\n

She should resign immediately!<\/p>\n

Cheatle revealed that she hadn\u2019t even visited the site of the assassination attempt in Butler nine days into the investigation.<\/p>\n

During questioning, Rep. Scott Perry (R-PA) grilled Cheatle on why a short woman would be assigned to President\u00a0 Trump\u2019s detail.<\/p>\n

Like all of her other questions on Monday, Cheatle dodged this one too.<\/p>\n

Cheatle defended assigning short, dumpy women to protect President Trump.\u00a0 This is pure insanity.<\/p>\n

They really wanted him dead.<\/p>\n

Rep. Scott Perry:<\/strong>\u00a0 Ma\u2019am, the fact that you haven\u2019t\u2014and I\u2019ll close with this, Mr. Chairman\u2014haven\u2019t even visited the site. I understand there are other things going on, but the culture of your organization, the culture Do you know how tall the President is? How tall is the President? President Trump. How tall is he?<\/p>\n

Director Kimberly Cheatle:<\/strong>\u00a0He\u2019s over 6 feet tall. I don\u2019t have his exact\u2026<\/p>\n

Rep. Perry:\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0Okay, so do you assign agents based on their ability to cover physically and carry If necessary, the President of the United States, when you assign them to this mission, is that a parameter that is considered?<\/p>\n

Director Cheatle:\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0I assign agents to work our protectees that are capable and have been trained by the secret service.<\/p>\n

Rep. Perry:\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0I understand they\u2019re trained, but if you\u2019re not tall enough, it has nothing to do with\u2026 We\u2019re not mad at you, but if somebody is seven feet tall and you\u2019re five feet tall, there\u2019s going to be a delta there that is problematic in protecting the protectee. I\u2019m asking, is that a consideration when these agents, not saying you, but when they\u2019re assigned to the protectee?<\/p>\n

Director Cheatle:<\/strong>\u00a0 The agents that are assigned to our protectees are perfectly capable of providing protection. Okay, ma\u2019am.<\/p>\n

Rep. Perry:\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0The culture is what I\u2019m concerned about because the primary objective here seems to be something other than securing the site, securing the principle, and securing the people at the site. That\u2019s the concern based on the answers that you\u2019ve given today so far. Without a yield, Mr. Chairman.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Cheatle is as cocky as she is inept.<\/p>\n
