\u201cArticle I: The name of the Society shall be The Pilgrims. Article II: The object of the Society shall be the promotion of Anglo-American good fellowship.\u201d\u00a0The roster reveals 1,018 British and 732 American members with a maximum of 1,100 allowed. The Rules focus on member selection with all power invested in the Executive Committees. The members are prohibited from disclosing their participation without Committee consent which is evidently rarely permitted.<\/p>\n
