Currently, Hashem Safieddine is viewed as the likely heir to Nasrallah.<\/h3>\n<h3>Safieddine, who oversees Hezbollah&#8217;s political affairs and is a member of the group&#8217;s Jihad Council, is also Nasrallah&#8217;s cousin and shares a clerical background.
