Barack Obama courted the \u2018deep state\u2019 during his rise to power, and once in office was powerless to disobey their orders, the former US president\u2019s half-brother has told Going Underground host Afshin Rattansi.<\/p>\n
In an interview set to air on Monday, Malik Obama told Rattansi that before he entered the corridors of power, Barack Obama\u00a0\u201cwas a really humble, really nice person.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n However,\u00a0\u201cto be the president of the USA, he had to have the backing of certain people like the Clintons\u201d<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0\u201cthe [George] Soros people\u2026the ones who are really controlling everything out there.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n Keeping their backing, along with the support of the deep state, was crucial to Barack Obama, and Malik suggested that his half-brother wouldn\u2019t have dared oppose the 2014 coup in Ukraine or the 2011 regime-change operation against Muammar Gaddafi in Libya.<\/p>\n The term \u2018deep state\u2019 refers to the unelected and often unknown government bureaucrats who steer government policy, particularly the leaders of intelligence agencies and the military.<\/p>\n Malik Obama has the same father as the ex-president, and visited the White House several times during his brother\u2019s first term in office. However, he later claimed that Barack was\u00a0\u201ccold and ruthless,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0and blasted him for abandoning his Kenyan family. He has since made a series of bizarre claims about the former president, apparently announcing last year that Barack Obama is\u00a0\u201cdefinitely gay,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0and alleging in 2017 that he was born in Kenya.<\/p>\n
