Ratcliffe said in a statement to Fox News Tuesday. &#8211;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/dni-brennan-notes-cia-memo-clinton\"><em>Fox News<\/em><\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;<strong>We\u2019re getting additional insight into Russian activities from [REDACTED],<\/strong>&#8221; however\u00a0<strong>DNI Ratcliffe said in a statement last week:\u00a0<\/strong>&#8220;<strong>To be clear, this is not Russian disinformation<\/strong>\u00a0and has not been assessed as such by the Intelligence Community,&#8221; adding &#8220;I\u2019ll be briefing Congress on the sensitive sources and methods by which it was obtained in the coming days.&#8221;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>A source familiar with the documents told Fox News on Tuesday that the allegation was &#8220;not disinformation.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<strong>This is not Russian disinformation. Even Brennan knew, or he wouldn&#8217;t be briefing the president of the United States on it<\/strong>,&#8221; the source said. &#8220;There is a high threshold to orally brief the president of the United States and he clearly felt this met that threshold.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Another source familiar with the documents told Fox News that &#8220;<strong>this information has been sought by hundreds of congressional requests for legitimate oversight purposes and was withheld for political spite\u2014and the belief that they\u2019d never get caught.<\/strong>&#8221; &#8211;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/dni-brennan-notes-cia-memo-clinton\"><em>Fox News<\/em><\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"max-width-video-wrapper\">\n<div class=\"fluid-width-video-wrapper\"><iframe id=\"fitvid905332\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/-2ASZYOKoL4\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>And per\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2020\/10\/06\/breaking-dni-declassifies-handwritten-notes-from-john-brennan-2016-cia-referral-on-clinton-campaigns-collusion-operation\/\"><em>The Federalist<\/em><\/a>: &#8220;<strong>There is no evidence the FBI ever took any action to ensure that Russian knowledge of Clinton\u2019s plans did not lead to infiltration of that campaign\u2019s operation by Russian intelligence agents<\/strong>.
