Facebook<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Twitter<\/a>\u00a0showed Wednesday that they “want to rig an election,” Senate Judiciary Committee member Josh Hawley, R-Mo., told “The Ingraham Angle<\/a>” after the social media giants censored or blocked dissemination of a bombshell New York Post report on Hunter Biden.<\/p>\n

“It’s basically Big Tech\u00a0versus democracy,” Hawley told host Laura Ingraham. “These tech\u00a0companies …\u00a0want to control what we\u00a0read.\u00a0They want to control journalists\u00a0in this country.\u00a0They want to control the news.\u00a0And we just can’t let them.<\/p>\n

“That’s why I will be inviting Facebook and Twitter to\u00a0come testify under oath to my\u00a0subcommittee in the\u00a0United States Senate,” added Hawley, referring to the Subcommittee on Antitrust, Competition Police, and Consumer Rights.<\/p>\n

“The American people deserve\u00a0answers.”<\/p>\n
