By: Trevor Loudon | The Epoch Times<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n On Fox Business Network\u2019s \u201cMornings with Maria<\/a>\u201d on Oct. 8, President Donald Trump\u00a0described<\/a>\u00a0Democratic vice presidential candidate\u00a0Kamala Harris<\/a>\u00a0(D-CA) as a \u201ccommunist<\/a>; she\u2019s left of Bernie!\u201d The president went on to cite Sen. Harris\u2019 views, which are indeed even more extreme than Senators Bernie Sanders\u2019 (I-VT) or Elizabeth Warren\u2019s (D-MA).<\/p>\n But there\u2019s much more compelling evidence to indicate that, yes, Kamala Harris may indeed be communist.<\/p>\n Harris\u2019\u00a0parents<\/a>, her mother Shyamala Gopalan, an Indian cancer researcher, and Donald Harris, a Jamaican economist, were both hard-core leftists.<\/p>\n In the early 1960s, the couple was active in the Berkeley-based Afro-American Association.<\/p>\n According to one former member,\u00a0Aubrey LaBrie,<\/a>\u00a0\u201cFidel Castro\u00a0and\u00a0Che Guevara were the heroes of some of us. \u2026 We would talk about Black Muslims, the liberation movements going on in Africa, everything.\u201d<\/p>\n The group\u2019s leader Donald Warden mentored two young Afro-American Association members\u00a0Huey Newton\u00a0and\u00a0Bobby Seale, who would go on to found the\u00a0Black Panther Party in 1966. The Panthers followed a Maoist philosophy and supported communist China. They serve as a model for today\u2019s\u00a0Black Lives Matter<\/a>\u00a0movement.<\/p>\n Years later, Warden (by then known as Khalid al-Mansour) would\u00a0play a role<\/a>\u00a0in helping Barack Obama get into Harvard Law School.<\/p>\n In 1975, Donald Harris was recruited to the Stanford University economics department as an open Marxist.<\/p>\n After playing at student radical at Howard University, Kamala Harris returned to the Bay Area to launch her legal career. Thirty-year-old Harris formed an eyebrow-raising romantic relationship with then 60-year-old Willie Brown, a leading California Democrat, soon to become mayor of San Francisco.<\/p>\n Brown helped Harris\u2019 career and steered her into a couple of board positions that paid her about $400,000 over 5 years, according to the\u00a0San Francisco Weekly<\/a>.<\/p>\n Brown was a long-time communist sympathizer. He was first elected to public office with the help of the Communist Party USA\u00a0youth wing<\/a>. He was funded by Dr. Carlton Goodlett, a\u00a0communist newspaper owner<\/a> once awarded the Lenin Prize by the government of the former Soviet Union.<\/p>\n Several years after his affair with Harris, Brown was still openly sponsoring\u00a0Communist Party fundraisers<\/a>\u00a0in the Bay Area while serving as San Francisco mayor.<\/p>\n Today, Brown is widely regarded as one of the Chinese Communist Party\u2019s best\u00a0friends<\/a>\u00a0in the Bay Area.<\/p>\n While serving as the San Francisco district attorney, Harris mentored a young San Francisco activist named\u00a0Lateefah Simon<\/a>. After hiring her and helping Simon get through college, Harris introduced her young friend to many influential San Franciscans. Today, Simon serves as president of the leftist\u00a0Akonadi Foundation<\/a>\u00a0and chairs the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) board.<\/p>\n When Harris first met Simon, the younger woman was serving on the board of directors of the Oakland-based\u00a0Youth Empowerment Center<\/a>. Every single other board member\u2014Harmony Goldberg, Adam Gold, Cindy Wiesner, and future Obama Green Jobs Czar Van Jones\u2014were members of the Maoist communist group\u00a0Standing Together to Organize a Revolutionary Movement<\/a>\u00a0(STORM).<\/p>\n Gold is today a member of\u00a0LeftRoots<\/a>, an affiliate group of America\u2019s main pro-China communist party\u00a0Liberation Road<\/a>.<\/p>\n Simon is best friends with another LeftRoots member, Black Lives Matter founder\u00a0Alicia Garza<\/a>.<\/p>\n Harris openly supports Black Lives Matter and is still close to Simon and Garza. In turn, Garza is a long-time friend and associate of LeftRoots comrade\u00a0Alex Tom<\/a>\u2014a man with\u00a0close ties<\/a>\u00a0to the radical\u00a0Chinese Progressive Association<\/a>\u00a0and the Chinese Consulate in San Francisco.<\/p>\n Harris\u2019 sister\u00a0Maya Harris<\/a>\u00a0was a student activist at Stanford University. She was a friend of\u00a0Steve Phillips<\/a>, one of the leading Marxist-Leninists on campus and a long-time affiliate of a pro-China group\u00a0League of Revolutionary Struggle<\/a>.<\/p>\n According to Phillips\u2019 blog\u00a0\u201cPolitical Intelligence\u201d<\/a>:<\/p>\n \u201cFirst, let me make clear that I come out of the Left. I\u2019ve studied Marx, Mao, and Lenin. In college, I organized solidarity efforts for freedom struggles in South Africa and Nicaragua, and I palled around with folks who considered themselves communists and revolutionaries \u2026, and I did my research paper on the\u00a0Black Panther Party.\u201d<\/p>\n After leaving Stanford in the early 1990s, Phillips led many of his comrades into the Democratic Party. He also married into the multi-billion Sandler family Golden West savings and loan fortune, which enabled the young revolutionary to buy himself considerable political influence.<\/p>\n Sandler money has funded the Center for American Progress, ProPublica, and multiple candidates and ballot initiatives around the country. In 2008, Phillips spent $10 million through his\u00a0PowerPAC-plus<\/a>\u00a0on voter registration drives in Southern and South Western states that got his friend Barack Obama ahead of Hillary Clinton in the Democratic primary.<\/p>\n In 2013, Phillips helped elect his old Stanford friend Cory Booker to the U.S. Senate from New Jersey. In 2018, he almost made his proteges\u00a0Stacey Abrams<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Andrew Gillum<\/a>\u00a0the governors of Georgia and Florida, respectively.<\/p>\n Phillips is a\u00a0friend of the Harris family<\/a>\u00a0and helped Maya Harris\u2019 husband\u00a0Tony West<\/a>\u00a0become associate attorney general in the Obama administration. He has also been a major sponsor of Kamala Harris\u2019 political career.<\/p>\n In 2003, Phillips helped elect Harris as San Francisco district attorney. Ironically, she beat incumbent\u00a0Terence Hallinan<\/a>, who as a young communist helped Willie Brown win his first election.<\/p>\n Phillips\u2019 PowerPAC-plus\u00a0helped elect<\/a>\u00a0Harris as California attorney general in 2010 and then to the U.S. Senate in 2016.<\/p>\n In the early 2000s, Harris\u2019 current Chief of Staff,\u00a0Karine Jean-Pierre\u00a0was active with the New York-based\u00a0Haiti Support Network. The organization worked closely with the pro-China\/North Korea\u00a0Workers World Party\u00a0and supported Jean-Bertrand Aristide, the far-left former president of Haiti, and his radical Lavalas moment.<\/p>\n In April 2004, at the Whitman Theatre at Brooklyn College,\u00a02,000 gathered<\/a>\u00a0to hear a program entitled \u201cAn Evening with Friends of Haiti: The Truth Behind the Haiti Coup.\u201d<\/p>\n The rally was co-chaired by Jean-Pierre and Kim Ives of the Haiti Support Network, along with\u00a0Pat Chin<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Sara Flounders<\/a>\u00a0from the\u00a0Workers World Party.<\/p>\n In May 2004, Jean-Pierre joined a delegation to Haiti with two well-known Workers World Party comrades\u00a0Steve Gillis<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0LeiLani Dowell<\/a>.<\/p>\n Around the same time, Jean-Pierre worked for China-friendly New York City Council member\u00a0James Sanders<\/a>. Her duties as part of his\u00a0reelection campaign<\/a>\u00a0included working with the local branch of the much discredited \u201ccommunity organizing\u201d group ACORN.<\/p>\n Harris\u2019 husband Doug Emhoff works for the law firm DLA Piper, which \u201cboasts nearly 30 years of\u00a0experience\u00a0in China and over 140 lawyers dedicated to its \u2018China Investment Services\u2019 branch,\u201d according to the National Pulse.<\/p>\n Writes the\u00a0National Pulse<\/a>:<\/p>\n \u201cTo facilitate DLA Piper\u2019s China practice\u2014which has received countless prestigious\u00a0awards\u00a0from the China Business Law\u00a0Journal\u00a0and China Law and\u00a0Practice\u2014the company employs a host of former Chinese Communist Party officials.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cErnest Yang, who\u00a0serves\u00a0as the firm\u2019s Head of Litigation & Regulatory department and Co-Head of International Arbitration, was appointed to the Chinese People\u2019s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) in 2013. The CPPCC serves as the top advisory board for the Chinese Communist Party, and Yang was promoted to the body\u2019s Standing Committee in 2019.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cJessica Zhao, a\u00a0Senior Advisor, served as the Deputy Secretary-General of the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC), a government-owned body established by the Chinese Communist Party in 1956. It was developed under the auspices of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, \u2018a\u00a0governmental\u00a0body for the furtherance of Chinese trade promotion.\u2019\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n Several other high-level DLA Piper employees, both Chinese and American nationals, have served the Chinese regime in some capacity or another.<\/p>\n Emhoff took a leave of absence from the firm in August, the\u00a0New York Times<\/a>\u00a0reported.<\/p>\n If Biden is elected president, Harris will be one heartbeat or a few brain cells away from the top job.<\/p>\n If Harris was to apply for a mid-level job in the Department of Agriculture, she would almost certainly fail the security background check. She owes her entire career to sympathizers or active enablers of the Chinese Communist Party.<\/p>\n Fortunately for her (and potentially disastrous for the country), elected office-holders are not subject to the security clearance process.<\/p>\nCommunist Parents<\/h2>\n
