In yet another shocking though not unexpected\u00a0display of Big Tech censorship, YouTube announced today that it has\u00a0banned<\/a>\u00a0LifeSite\u00a0from using its services for\u00a0one week.<\/p>\n

For the next seven days,\u00a0LifeSite\u00a0will be\u00a0unable to\u00a0post,\u00a0upload,\u00a0or livestream any videos on YouTube.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

What this means\u00a0is our hugely successful podcasts and on-the-ground reporting from across the world\u00a0that our 200,000 YouTube subscribers signed up for will\u00a0come to\u00a0a halt. For now.<\/p>\n

According to YouTube,\u00a0a\u00a0LifeSite\u00a0video titled,\u00a0\u201cCanadian doctor destroys \u2018utterly unfounded public hysteria\u2019 over COVID-19<\/a>,\u201d violated their \u201cCommunity Guidelines.”\u00a0They said the video was\u00a0\u201cmedical\u00a0misinformation.\u201d<\/p>\n

This is patently\u00a0false,\u00a0and we will be appealing this decision.\u00a0If you\u00a0saw\u00a0the video\u00a0prior to it\u00a0being removed, you’d see it was simply quoting\u00a0directly\u00a0from\u00a0the\u00a0doctor\u00a0himself\u00a0and not stating an outright claim.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s more, not only has YouTube\u00a0removed our\u00a0video,\u00a0but\u00a0they\u2019ve given\u00a0LifeSite\u00a0its\u00a0first \u201cstrike.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n

As you can see, if we get two more \u201cstrikes\u201d in the next 90 days for\u00a0other\u00a0violations of\u00a0their \u201cCommunity\u00a0Guidelines,\u201d LifeSite will be\u00a0permanently\u00a0removed from YouTube.<\/b><\/p>\n
