The\u00a0Epoch Times reports<\/a>:<\/p>\n Attorney\u00a0Sidney Powell<\/a>\u00a0is asking the U.S.\u00a0Supreme Court<\/a>\u00a0to immediately intervene in her lawsuits challenging the integrity and outcome of the 2020 elections in four states.<\/p>\n In an announcement on Friday, Powell said she had filed emergency requests to the nation\u2019s top court, asking the justices to order officials in\u00a0Georgia, Michigan<\/a>, and\u00a0Arizona<\/a>\u00a0to immediately de-certify their\u00a02020 election<\/a> results and to prevent the states\u2019 presidential electors from casting votes in the electoral college.<\/p>\n An emergency filing is also anticipated for her Wisconsin case. The filings aim to maintain the status quo in the states in order to give the Supreme Court time to consider the allegations presented in her lawsuits.<\/p>\n \u201cThese cases raise constitutional issues and prove massive\u00a0<\/span>fraud<\/span>. Our plaintiffs have\u00a0<\/span>standing<\/span>\u00a0\u2018WeThePeople\u2019<\/span>\u00a0will not allow\u00a0<\/span>rigged<\/span>\u00a0elections,\u201d she said in a Twitter\u00a0statement on Friday<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n The briefs have indicated that Powell\u2019s legal teams are preparing to file a petition for a writ of certiorari\u2014or a request\u2014asking the high court to review lower courts\u2019 rulings that dismissed her lawsuits\u00a0in the four states that were dubbed \u201cthe kraken.\u201d The lawyers have filed appeals to each states\u2019 respective circuit courts but due to looming deadlines, the teams will file a simultaneous appeal to the top court.<\/p>\n Each state\u2019s presidential electors are expected to meet on Dec. 14 and cast their electoral college vote.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
