The Queen’s Church Wants Trannies to Be Priests, Russian Church Suggests They Visit a Psychiatrist<\/h1>\n

Leading Anglican bishops are inviting transgender applicants to the priesthood. Meanwhile, leading Russian Orthodox bishops call transgenderism a mental disorder. Queen Elizabeth, Supreme Governor of the Church of England, has not yet released a public statement.<\/em><\/h3>\n

One man’s mental health diagnosis may be another man’s ticket to the priesthood, according to recent developments in one of the world’s largest Protestant denominations. The Anglican Communion has\u00a085 million members worldwide<\/a>, all of whom have ties with the Church of England.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

To support a new Diversity Drive, and to help fill vacant spots in English churches, leading Anglican bishops have\u00a0invited transgender persons to serve as priests<\/a>. The\u00a0Daily Telegraph reports<\/a>:<\/p>\n

The guidance, titled “welcoming and honouring LGBT+ people”, warns that the church’s reputation as being unwelcoming towards gay and transgender people is stopping young people attending.<\/p>\n

“We very much hope that they, like everyone else, feel encouraged to serve on PCCs, or as churchwardens and worship leaders, for instance, and are supported in exploring vocations to licensed lay and ordained ministries,” the guidance says.<\/p>\n

“Nobody should be told that their sexual or gender identity in itself makes them an unsuitable candidate for leadership in the Church.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Queen Elizabeth, the\u00a0Supreme Governor of the Church of England<\/a>, has not yet commented on this development.\u00a0Historically, she has supported legislation which favors sexual deviants.\u00a0Pink News gives the Queen credit<\/a>\u00a0for decriminalizing sodomy, allowing sodomites to adopt children, and reducing the age of consent for homosexual sex to age 16. Thus, it is plausible that she also approves of transgender priests in her church.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile\u00a0in Russia, the Orthodox Church influences society\u00a0to accept a\u00a0more traditional perspective<\/a>\u00a0on human sexuality. Marriage is only permitted between one man and one woman. Homosexual activity is forbidden.<\/p>\n

And\u00a0according to Metropolitan Hilarion, a top church leader and spokesperson for\u00a0the Russian Orthodox Church,\u00a0transgender people suffer from a\u00a0mental disorder<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Presumably, this would make them unfit for the priesthood.<\/p>\n
