He was killed during an arrest on May 25th in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The entire thing\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/video\/us\/100000007159353\/george-floyd-arrest-death-video.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">was caught on video<\/a>. It had all the potential to be a turning point with regard to police brutality and race \u2013 the nation was riveted and outraged.<\/p>\n<p>But then, as often occurs, the protests were co-opted. Extremists took over, extremists on the other side took umbrage, and\u00a0 Mr. Floyd became a footnote.<\/p>\n<p>2020 devolved into\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theorganicprepper.com\/battle-zones-america\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ongoing violence in American streets<\/a>\u00a0that most of us haven\u2019t seen in our lifetimes.
