CDC\u2019s Vaccine Injury Reporting System \u2018Temporarily Down\u2019<\/h1>\n

The Defender reached out to the CDC to ask why the system is down, and when it will be working again. We got a recording that said the media department was experiencing an \u201cunusually high volume of calls,\u201d and we should \u201chang up and try again later.\u201d<\/p>\n

Anyone hoping to find the latest information on vaccine injuries that have been reported to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is out of luck, at least temporarily.<\/p>\n

The CDC\u2019s\u00a0Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System<\/a>\u00a0(VAERS) allows the public to search the database of vaccine injuries reported to the system. Visitors to the site can search by a number of criteria, including type of injury and vaccine product.<\/p>\n

However,\u00a0The Defender<\/a>\u00a0learned today that the search portion of the VAERS website \u2014\u00a0VAERS WONDER System<\/a>\u00a0\u2014 has been down since Tuesday. Visitors to the system\u2019s website receive\u00a0this message<\/a>:<\/p>\n
