frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Prosecutors in Italy have launched a manslaughter investigation after a music teacher there died hours after getting the <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2021\/03\/15\/woman-who-died-after-getting-astrazeneca-vaccine-had-unusual-symptoms-report\/\">controversial AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Sandro Tognatti, 57, got jabbed in his hometown of Biella on Saturday afternoon and went to bed that night with a high fever, his wife, Simona Riussi, told Italian media.<\/p>\n<p>She called an ambulance the next morning but the clarinetist could not be saved, she said.<\/p>\n<p>Prosecutors in the northern Italian region of Piedmont opened the probe into his death later that day, according to the Italian wire service Agenzia Nazionale Stampa Associata (ANSA).<\/p>\n<p>They also seized nearly 400,000 shots of the AstraZeneca vaccine from the same batch.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img above-mentioned inoculation,\u201d prosecutor Teresa Angela Camelio said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>Italy on Monday joined a growing group of mostly European <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2021\/03\/15\/italy-france-germany-pull-astrazeneca-covid-19-vaccine\/\">nations temporarily suspending<\/a> the UK vaccine amid alarming reports of blood clots in some participants.<\/p>\n<p>They were joined Monday by France and Germany, with the likes of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2021\/03\/14\/ireland-suspends-astrazeneca-vaccine-amid-blood-clot-reports\/\">Ireland<\/a>,\u00a0Denmark, Norway, the Netherlands, Bulgaria, Luxembourg and Thailand approved for use in the US \u2014 but the drugmaker is reportedly pushing for <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2021\/03\/13\/astrazeneca-to-seek-us-authorization-for-covid-19-vaccine\/\">emergency-use
