This power grab is impossible to defend, so the left wants to deflect. Instead of winning the debate, they want to silence debate by bullying citizens and entire states into submission.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Delta\u00a0CEO Ed Bastian sent a notice to employees last week\u00a0saying he wanted to &#8220;make it crystal clear that the final bill is unacceptable and does not match Delta\u2019s values.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The right to vote is sacred. It is fundamental to our democracy and those rights not only need to be protected but easily facilitated in a safe and secure manner,&#8221; Bastian said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;After having time to now fully understand all that is in the bill, coupled with discussions with leaders and employees in the Black community, it\u2019s evident that the bill includes provisions that will make it harder for many underrepresented voters, particularly Black voters, to exercise their constitutional right to elect their representatives. That is wrong.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The Georgia House of Representatives is already hitting back.\u00a0The state House\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxbusiness.com\/markets\/georgia-house-votes-strip-delta-tax-break-after-ceo-criticized-voting-law\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">voted<\/a>\u00a0Wednesday to strip\u00a0Delta\u00a0of a multimillion-dollar tax break in a symbolic rebuke.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/politics\/2021\/03\/30\/biden-falsely-claims-new-georgia-law-ends-voting-hours-early\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Washington Post\u00a0Fact Checker<\/a>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/media\/biden-earns-four-pinocchios-washington-post\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">dinged<\/a>\u00a0Biden\u00a0last week for falsely\u00a0claiming the\u00a0new Georgia law &#8220;ends voting hours early,&#8221; giving him its harshest rating of\u00a0Four Pinocchios for spreading the misinformation. Biden repeatedly\u00a0claimed last week that the law\u00a0signed by Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp, a Republican, would\u00a0make it harder for working-class people to vote.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;What I\u2019m worried about is how un-American this whole initiative is. It\u2019s sick. It\u2019s sick,&#8221; Biden said. &#8220;Deciding that you\u2019re going to end voting at 5 o&#8217;clock when working people are just getting off work.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Biden doubled down the following day in a written statement: &#8220;Among the outrageous parts of this new state law, it ends voting hours early so working people can\u2019t cast their vote after their shift is over.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Washington Post fact-checker\u00a0Glenn Kessler\u00a0wrote Biden&#8217;s claim couldn&#8217;t be substantiated.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;One could understand a flub in a news conference. But then this same claim popped up in an official presidential statement.
