VATICAN CITY, April 8, 2021 (LifeSiteNews<\/a>) \u2013\u00a0Pope Francis has addressed the World Bank and International Monetary Fund at their spring meeting, calling for \u201cglobal governance\u201d in light of COVID-19, strongly advocating for universal vaccines, and bemoaning the \u201cecological debt\u201d which is owed to \u201cnature itself.\u201d<\/p>\n His letter is the latest in a series of recent acts in which Francis has aligned himself with global corporations committed to anti-Catholic agendas.<\/p>\n The letter was delivered via Peter Cardinal Turkson, Prefect of the Holy See\u2019s Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development, to the\u00a0spring<\/a>\u00a02021\u00a0meeting<\/a>\u00a0between the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF), which is currently being held online from April 5 – 11.<\/p>\n Dated April 4,\u00a0the letter<\/a>\u00a0mentioned God just once, in the final line.<\/p>\n Instead, Francis focussed on calling for a system of global government which would implement a new societal order upon the world, based upon climate change policies and universal vaccination.<\/p>\n Referencing \u201cthe Covid-19 pandemic,\u201d Francis declared that the world had been forced to \u201cconfront a series of grave and interrelated socio-economic, ecological, and political crises.\u201d<\/p>\n Such inter-connected crises, he placed before the World Bank and IMF, hoping that their meetings would provide the basis for a re-ordering of world affairs: \u201cIt is my hope that your discussions will contribute to a model of \u2018recovery\u2019 capable of generating new, more inclusive and sustainable solutions to support the real economy, assisting individuals and communities to achieve their deepest aspirations and the universal common good.\u201d<\/p>\n Francis repeated the claim that COVID has shown how \u201cno one is saved alone,\u201d and hence \u201cnew and creative forms of social, political and economic participation\u201d must be drawn up.<\/p>\n Quoting from his recent encyclical\u00a0Fratelli<\/em>\u00a0Tutti<\/em>, which has been\u00a0described<\/a>\u00a0as \u201cblasphemous\u201d by Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigan\u00f2, Francis mentioned \u201ctrust\u201d as the \u201ccornerstone of all relationships,\u201d a point which he believed the World Bank and IMF would \u201cknow well\u201d due to being \u201cexperts in finance and economics.\u201d<\/p>\n He urged that the two financial giants foster such relationships, and engage in \u201cbuilding bridges, and envisioning long-term inclusive projects.\u201d<\/p>\n Francis also renewed his frequent call for a paradigm shift in global politics, saying: \u201cthere remains an urgent need for a global plan that can create new or regenerate existing institutions, particularly those of global governance, and help to build a new network of international relations for advancing the integral human development of all peoples.\u201d<\/p>\n A principal effect of the desired global government, would be the reduction of debt in order to enable easy access primarily to \u201cvaccines,\u201d followed by \u201chealth, education and jobs.\u201d<\/p>\n However, Pope Francis did not miss the opportunity to instruct the IMF and World Bank on\u00a0another<\/a>\u00a0of his\u00a0regular areas of concern<\/a>\u00a0issues, namely \u201cclimate change<\/a>.\u201d He warned about overlooking \u201cecological debt,\u201d a phenomena which he described as affecting the whole world, and pitting the \u201cglobal north\u201d against the \u201csouth.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWe are, in fact, in debt to nature itself, as well as the people and countries affected by human-induced ecological degradation and biodiversity loss,\u201d wrote Francis.<\/p>\n \u201cIn this regard, I believe that the financial industry, which is distinguished by its great creativity, will prove capable of developing agile mechanisms for calculating this ecological debt, so that developed countries can pay it, not only by significantly limiting their consumption of non-renewable energy or by assisting poorer countries to enact policies and programmes of sustainable development, but also by covering the costs of the innovation required for that purpose.\u201d<\/p>\n These lines seem to echo the sentiments expressed by key globalist and founder of the World Economic Forum, Klaus Schwab, whose proposed\u00a0anti-Catholic<\/a>\u00a0\u201cGreat Reset<\/a>,\u201d is underpinned by a focus on a green financial agenda, as he mentions the \u201cwithdrawal of fossil-fuel subsidies,\u201d and a new financial system based on \u201cinvestments\u201d which advance \u201cequality and sustainability,\u201d and the building of a \u201c\u2018green\u2019 urban infrastructure.\u201d<\/p>\n Schwab, the IMF, and scores of the world\u2019s most influential banks (including the World Bank), have in fact already committed themselves to\u00a0enforcing the green agenda<\/a>\u00a0of the Great Reset, and look set to make adherence to such green policies a criteria for access to finance in the future.<\/p>\n Francis has already signalled his intimacy with Schwab, by sending an address to the WEF\u00a0four<\/a>\u00a0times<\/a>\u00a0in<\/a>\u00a0his eight-year pontificate, and allowing an annual\u00a0Vatican<\/a>\u00a0roundtable<\/a>\u00a0at Davos, the WEF\u2019s annual conference site in Switzerland.<\/p>\n Francis also made reference to the \u201ccommon good,\u201d several times in his letter, which he linked intimately to finance and a form of secular fraternity of the kind described in\u00a0Fratelli<\/em>\u00a0Tutti<\/em>.<\/p>\n \u201cIt follows that public money may never be disjoined from the public good, and financial markets should be underpinned by laws and regulations aimed at ensuring that they truly work for the common good. A commitment to economic, financial and social solidarity thus entails much more than engaging in sporadic acts of generosity.\u201d<\/p>\n Such goals, for Francis, include \u201ca justly financed vaccine solidarity,\u201d which he said was part of the \u201cthe law of love and the health of all.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cHere, I reiterate my call to government leaders, businesses and international organizations to work together in providing vaccines for all, especially for the most vulnerable and needy.\u201d<\/p>\n Closing his letter, Francis repeated his wish for a world focussed on a new style of fraternity, underpinned by a focus on green policies, urging the World Bank and IMF to develop solutions for \u201ca more inclusive and sustainable future.\u201d<\/p>\n It would be a future \u201cwhere finance is at the service of the common good, where the vulnerable and the marginalized are placed at the centre, and where the earth, our common home, is well cared for.\u201d<\/p>\n There was no mention in the letter of Christ, the Catholic Church or the Catholic teaching on the common good.<\/p>\n Pope Francis\u2019s letter comes as no great surprise, since the 84-year-old Argentine has been significantly increasing his long-standing ties with globalist groups and organisations, such as the United Nations (UN) and the WEF.<\/p>\n Francis has\u00a0recently called<\/a>\u00a0for a \u201cnew world order,\u201d saying that the \u201cdrama of wasting\u201d the COVID-19 \u201ccrisis\u201d would be worse than the disruption caused by COVID measures across the globe.<\/p>\n On that occasion too, he dealt with the topic of salvation, once again viewing it with a purely earthly understanding, and linking salvation to the new world order and a focus of green policies: \u201cThe path to humanity\u2019s salvation passes through the creation of a new model of development, which unquestionably focuses on coexistence among peoples in harmony with Creation.\u201d<\/p>\n To this end, Pope Francis has launched his own initiative\u00a0with the U.N<\/a>. and\u00a0with globalist corporations<\/a>, in order to promote a new \u201ceconomic system\u201d of capitalism, and ensure the achievement of the U.N.\u2019s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
