Did DMX take Covid-19 vaccine before heart attack? Rapper’s family member shuns ‘drug overdose’ reports<\/h1>\n

‘He took that vaccine, and he had a heart attack. I\u2019m not saying the vaccine did it, but he never had a heart attack before,’ the family member said.<\/p>\n

The internet was swept with a shockwave when there were speculations around the rapper\u2019s death, as distraught fans demanded clarity. When \u2018RIP DMX\u2019 began trending on Twitter, one couldn\u2019t help but wonder if the legendary musician had breathed his last. However, fans are now holding on to the last ray of hope as it was confirmed that DMX is still on life support, alive.<\/p>\n

According to reports, the rapper has been in a coma and life support since the heart attack last Friday, allegedly caused by a drug overdose. He was set to undergo a series of brain function and activity testing on Wednesday, April 7. The test was to \u201cdictate further decisions to be made by DMX’s family.\u201d<\/p>\n

And now, one of DMX\u2019s family members has revealed that the rapper received a Covid-19 vaccine about a week before he had a heart attack. \u201c[DMX] got the vaccine when they opened it up to people over 50. He got it so that he could go travel and perform, stuff like that,” they said in a statement. The family member has reportedly \u201csuspected\u201d that the heart attack could have been a \u201creaction to the vaccine\u201d. The statement<\/a> further read, \u201cHe took that vaccine, and he had a heart attack. I\u2019m not saying the vaccine did it, but he never had a heart attack before.\u201d However, the name of the vaccine the rapper allegedly received hasn’t been revealed.<\/p>\n

If the reports are believed to be true, the family member was \u201cfurious\u201d about the rumors surrounding the rapper overdosing on drugs. They told the outlet, \u201cEveryone (in the news) keeps saying that (DMX) had a drug overdose. How do they know. I\u2019m in the family and no doctor told me anything about an overdose. Yes he had past issues with drugs. But nobody knows that he had an OD. It\u2019s f*****d up that its being reported like that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Even though fans are relieved to learn that \u2018RIP DMX\u201d was a hoax, they are sending out prayers for his recovery. One tweeted, “#DMX maybe on life support. But he is still alive. Continue to prayer for our brother.” Another added, “Sending prayers up for DMX miracles happen with prayer X would of told us to pray so I am sending prayers for DMX.”<\/p>\n

One fan tweeted, “update: lets hope dmx is still fighting through this. i have no clue whats true & whats false at this point. so many reports being made by the hour. everyone just keep sending prayers, goodnight!” One wrote, “it\u2019s annoying @ this point. if it was their loved ones in the same position they wouldn\u2019t want NONE of this happening. too much he say she say, stfu and let God do what was planned for DMX. all prayers to him & his family tho.”<\/p>\n
