He admitted that the whole effort to prove contagion was a failure, leading to his\u00a0 famous death bed confession that \u201cthe germ is nothing, the terrain is everything.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n While the incidence and death statistics for COVID-19 may not be reliable, there is no question\u00a0 that many people have taken sick with a strange new disease\u2014with odd symptoms like gasping\u00a0 for air and \u201cfizzing\u201d feelings\u2014and hundreds of thousands have died. Many suspect that the\u00a0 cause is not viral but a kind of pollution unique to the modern age\u2014electromagnetic pollution.\u00a0 Today we are surrounded by a jangle of overlapping and jarring frequencies\u2014from power lines\u00a0 to the fridge to the cell phone.
