Senator Mitt Romney was raucously booed this week at\u00a0the Utah Republican Party\u2019s organizing convention, where he was trying to stumble his way through a speech about the state of Joe Biden’s first 100 days in office.<\/p>\n
Video of his speech hit the internet on Saturday and showed a crowd of more than 2,100\u00a0Republican delegates booing him at\u00a0the Maverik Center, the\u00a0Salt Lake Tribune<\/a>\u00a0wrote. The jeers started almost instantly upon Romney’s chance to speak.<\/p>\n As soon as Romney takes the podium he is granted by a loud chorus of boos. “Thank you, thank you,” Romney tells the crowd.<\/p>\n \u201cAren\u2019t you embarrassed?\u201d Romney later asked the crowd, who was antagonizing him. He continued, trying to defend himself to the crowd:\u00a0\u201cI\u2019m a man who says what he means, and you know I was not a fan of our last president\u2019s character issues.\u201d<\/p>\n
