Checklist<\/h1>\n<p><!--more-->ZeroHedge.com<\/p>\n<p>According to newly leaked employee training manuals, the Walt Disney Company has been pushing &#8220;Critical Race Theory&#8221; (CRT) on its employees, including lectures on race and white privilege, and how America was &#8216;founded on systemic racism.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/s3\/files\/inline-images\/woke%20disney.jpg?itok=7nP_GNDk\" data-image-external-href=\"\" data-image-href=\"\/s3\/files\/inline-images\/woke%20disney.jpg?itok=7nP_GNDk\" data-link-option=\"0\"><picture><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.zerohedge.com\/s3fs-public\/styles\/inline_image_mobile\/public\/inline-images\/woke%20disney.jpg?itok=7nP_GNDk\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"271\" data-entity-type=\"file\" data-entity-uuid=\"6372b93d-109f-46a4-8901-d6ef520ab5a4\" data-responsive-image-style=\"inline_images\" \/><\/picture><\/a><\/p>\n<p>According to the trove of documents leaked by a whistleblower, Disney&#8217;s &#8220;diversity and inclusion&#8221; program called &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.city-journal.org\/racial-politics-at-disney\">Reimagine Tomorrow<\/a>&#8221; as become &#8220;deeply politicized and engulfed parts of the company in racial conflict, according to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.city-journal.org\/racial-politics-at-disney\"><em>city-journal<\/em>.<em>org<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em><strong>The core of Disney\u2019s racial program is a series of training modules on \u201cantiracism.\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0In one, called \u201cAllyship for Race Consciousness,\u201d\u00a0<strong>the company tells employees that they must \u201ctake ownership of educating [themselves] about structural anti-Black racism\u201d\u00a0<\/strong>and that they should \u201cnot rely on [their] Black colleagues to educate [them],\u201d because it is \u201cemotionally taxing.\u201d\u00a0<strong>The United States, the document claims, has a \u201clong history of systemic racism and transphobia,\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong><u>white employees, in particular, must \u201cwork through feelings of guilt, shame, and defensiveness to understand what is beneath them and what needs to be healed.\u201d<\/u>\u00a0<\/strong>Disney recommends that employees atone by\u00a0<strong>\u201cchalleng[ing] colorblind ideologies and rhetoric\u201d such as \u201cAll Lives Matter\u201d and \u201cI don\u2019t see color\u201d<\/strong>; in partnership with the YWCA. What&#8217;s more, &#8220;individualism&#8221; , &#8220;timeliness,&#8221; and &#8220;comprehensiveness&#8221; are &#8220;white dominant&#8221; values which &#8220;perpetuate white supremacy culture&#8221; and should be rejected.<\/p>\n<p>Did you get that? Simply being on time to things is perpetuates &#8216;white supremacy culture.&#8217;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>In the same collection of resources,\u00a0<strong>Disney also recommends that employees read a series of how-to guides, including \u201c75 Things White People Can Do for Racial Justice\u201d and \u201cYour Kids Are Not Too Young to Talk About Race.\u201d\u00a0<\/strong>The first article suggests that\u00a0<strong>white employees should \u201cdefund the police,\u201d \u201cparticipate in reparations,\u201d \u201cdecolonize your bookshelf,\u201d \u201cdon\u2019t gentrify neighborhoods,\u201d \u201cfind and join a local \u2018white space,\u2019\u201d and \u201cdonate to anti-white supremacy work such as your local Black Lives Matter Chapter.\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0The second article encourages\u00a0<strong>parents to commit to \u201craising race-consciousness in children\u201d and argues that \u201ceven babies discriminate\u201d against members of other races<\/strong>. A graphic claims that\u00a0<strong>babies show the first signs of racism at three months old<\/strong>, and that white children become \u201cstrongly biased in favor whiteness\u201d by age four.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Finally, as part of an initiative labeled \u201cCEO sponsored priorities,\u201d\u00a0<strong>Disney has launched racially segregated \u201caffinity groups\u201d for minority employees<\/strong>, with the goal of achieving \u201cculturally-authentic insights.\u201d In the original launch,\u00a0<strong>the Latino affinity group was called \u201cHola,\u201d the Asian affinity group was called \u201cCompass,\u201d and the black affinity group was called \u201cWakanda.\u201d\u00a0<\/strong>The racial affinity groups, also called Business Employee Resource Groups (BERGs), are technically open to all employees but in practice have become almost entirely segregated by race, with the occasional exception for white \u201cexecutive champions\u201d who attend on behalf of corporate leadership. \u201cThe thing that this company does very well is they know politics, so they leave many things unspoken,\u201d said one employee, a racial minority, who also claimed the affinity groups are intended to be racially segregated spaces. \u201cI don\u2019t think anyone has necessarily even tried to attend something that they would discover that they\u2019re not welcome at.\u201d &#8211;<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.city-journal.org\/racial-politics-at-disney\"><em>city-journal<\/em>.<em>org<\/em><\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>One employee told\u00a0<em>City Journal<\/em>&#8216;s Christopher F Rufo that the political environment at the company has intensified in recent months, and that there are &#8220;almost daily memos, suggested readings, panels, and seminars that [are] all centered around antiracism.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The company is &#8220;completely ideologically one-sided&#8221; and actively discourages Christian and conservative employees from expressing their views.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I attended several [training sessions] at the beginning just to see what the temperature of the discussion would be and to gauge if I would be able to bring up my own objections in a safe way\u2014safe meaning for my career.
