NASA immediately blasted China for<strong>\u00a0failing to\u00a0&#8220;meet responsible standards&#8221;<\/strong>\u00a0of space activity and operations.\u00a0&#8220;Spacefaring nations must minimize the risks to people and property on Earth of re-entries of space objects and maximize transparency regarding those operations,&#8221;\u00a0NASA Administrator Sen. It&#8217;s been expected to\u00a0re-enter Earth&#8217;s atmosphere Saturday or Sunday,\u00a0driving fears that 20 tons of debris could\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ibtimes.sg\/long-march-5b-us-military-says-china-rocket-will-hit-turkmenistan-9-key-points-57344\">fall on populated areas<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>CNN&#8217;s Jim Sciutto said the &#8220;latest information has this coming down to Earth in Turkmenistan in central Asia. The timing of this is tomorrow evening 7pm eastern time..\u00a0<strong>this would be early Sunday morning hours in central Asia<\/strong>&#8230;\u00a0<strong>in potentially populated areas &#8211; that&#8217;s the issue here<\/strong>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The rocket will be one of the<strong>\u00a0largest objects to descend from low Earth orbit in an uncontrolled re-entry<\/strong>.
