After all you have just been presented with an astonishing piece of intel. You scramble to the exit, actually the entrance of the Magic Theater, where you ask, Keats-style, Was it a dream? Do I wake or sleep?<\/p>\n<p><strong>So what was the dream about? Oh, something so prosaic, so down to the nitty gritty geopolitics: what really happened during the visit of US Secretary of State Tony Blinken to Ukraine.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/s3\/files\/inline-images\/shutterstock_255260497-600x398.jpg?itok=Oj4Et3fE\" data-image-external-href=\"\" data-image-href=\"\/s3\/files\/inline-images\/shutterstock_255260497-600x398.jpg?itok=Oj4Et3fE\" data-link-option=\"0\"><picture><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"inline-images image-style-inline-images\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.zerohedge.com\/s3fs-public\/styles\/inline_image_mobile\/public\/inline-images\/shutterstock_255260497-600x398.jpg?itok=Oj4Et3fE\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"332\" data-entity-type=\"file\" data-entity-uuid=\"62da4cc0-52a7-44e8-aca4-2a65983d6d91\" data-responsive-image-style=\"inline_images\" \/><\/picture><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>The great Andrei Martyanov has remarked that Blinken \u201ctold Kiev behind the scenes to \u2018dial it down\u2019, amidst the fluffy tropes about US concern for Ukraine\u2019s \u2018sovereignty\u2019 and \u2018security\u2019\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Well, looks like there was way more than fluffy tropes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Leaked info on the closed-door meeting between Blinken and Comedian-in-Charge Zelensky is no less than incandescent.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Blinken seemed to have read a no-holds-barred riot act.<\/p>\n<p><u><strong>Here are the guidelines.<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>All Ukrainian state corporations must be controlled by the proverbial \u201cforeign interests\u201d.<\/strong>\u00a0So board majorities must be either foreign or 5th\u00a0columnists. The entire anti-corruption vertical drive must also be foreign-controlled. Same for the judicial system.<\/li>\n<li>Andriy\u00a0<strong>Kobolyev \u2013 an American asset \u2013 must be reinstated\u00a0<\/strong>as head of Naftogaz. Zelensky moved mountains to get rid of Kobolyev.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Blinken demanded a massive push against every Ukrainian oligarch<\/strong>, so that huge chunks of Ukrainian economy are transferred to \u2013 who else \u2013 foreigners. Same for land privatization.<\/li>\n<li>Somewhat hilariously, Blinken warned that Russian troops might invade Ukraine. In this case,\u00a0<strong>Zelensky can count only on huge political assistance, not military.\u00a0<\/strong>So Zelensky in fact was ordered to stop asking to join NATO and cease provoking Russia, as President Putin, who already drew red lines, could make a \u201cdrastic decision\u201d.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Blinken demanded that American assets should be untouchable by Ukrainian law,<\/strong>\u00a0and named honored figures of civil society. Maidan cookie distributor Victoria \u201cF**k the EU\u201d Nuland, also in the room, drew up a list of The Untouchables, and Blinken met with them separately.<\/li>\n<li>Finally, the giant ghost hanging over the whole trip to Kiev had to make itself known. In practice,\u00a0<strong>Zelensky was invited to turn in everyone in Ukraine who helped bring information about Hunter Biden to the media<\/strong>\u00a0via Rudolph Giuliani.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>According to the source who had access to the leak, Zelensky was left beyond speechless.<\/strong>\u00a0That\u2019s not exactly what he was expecting. Especially when it comes to transferring valuable assets controlled by Ukrainian oligarchs to \u201cforeign interests\u201d. Someone will inevitably whack him.<\/p>\n<p><strong>No one is touching this leak \u2013 as if it was radioactive poison. No one will confirm it. Its plausibility though cannot be denied.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Contradicting these powerful, left unnamed \u201cforeign interests\u201d is simply out of the question. They now seem to be guided by a \u201ctake the money and run\u201d logic, as in taking over the looting of Ukraine lock, stock and barrel before the whole thing \u2013 actually a failed state \u2013 blows up.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pity those oligarchs who thought they were going to loot the land through privatization. Instead the money is on a one way out journey. Follow the money.
