But I believe the discussion\/news is so one-sided that I should speak up.<\/p>\n<p>As I always strive to do, I promise to do my best to be level-headed and non-hysterical.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m not here to pick a fight with anyone, just to walk you through some of what I\u2019ve read, my lingering questions and explain why I can\u2019t make sense of these <a href=\"https:\/\/childrenshealthdefense.org\/defender\/covid-19-vaccine-news\/\">COVID vaccines<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Three ground rules for discussion<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>If you care to engage on this topic with me, excellent. Here are the rules. I am more than happy to correspond with you if:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">You are respectful and treat me the way you would want to be treated.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">You ask genuinely thoughtful questions about what makes sense to you.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">You make your points using sound logic and don\u2019t hide behind links or the word \u201cscience.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you do respond, and you break any of those rules, your comments will be ignored\/deleted.<\/p>\n<p>With that out of the way, let me say this: I don\u2019t know everything, but so far no one has been able to answer the objections below. So here are the reasons I\u2019m opting out of the COVID vaccine:<\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Vaccine makers are immune from liability<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The only industry in the world that bears no liability for injuries or deaths resulting from their products are vaccine makers.<\/p>\n<p>As first established in 1986 with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.congress.gov\/bill\/99th-congress\/house-bill\/5546\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act<\/a>, and reinforced by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.phe.gov\/Preparedness\/legal\/prepact\/Pages\/default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Public Readiness and Emergency Preparedness (PREP) Act<\/a>, vaccine makers cannot be sued \u2014 even if they are shown to be negligent.<\/p>\n<p>The COVID vaccine makers are allowed to create a <a href=\"https:\/\/childrenshealthdefense.org\/defender\/vaccinating-people-infected-covid-cause-avoidable-harm\/\">one-size-fits-al<\/a>l product, with no testing on sub-populations (i.e. people with specific health conditions), and yet they are unwilling to accept any responsibility for any <a href=\"https:\/\/childrenshealthdefense.org\/defender\/vaers-data-vaccine-injury-trends-continue\/\">adverse events<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/childrenshealthdefense.org\/defender\/pfizer-vaccine-death-56-year-old-doctor\/\">deaths<\/a> their products cause.<\/p>\n<p>If a company is not willing to stand behind its product as safe, especially one <a href=\"https:\/\/childrenshealthdefense.org\/news\/operation-warp-speed-cia-linked-contractor-covid-vaccine\/\">rushed to market<\/a>, I am not willing to take a chance on that product.<\/p>\n<p>No liability. No trust. Here\u2019s why \u2026<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. The checkered past of vaccine companies<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The four major companies who are making COVID vaccines are\/have either:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Never brought a vaccine to market before COVID (<a href=\"https:\/\/childrenshealthdefense.org\/defender\/discrepancies-modernas-fda-report-demand-answers\/\">Moderna<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/childrenshealthdefense.org\/defender\/johnson-johnson-updated-recommendations\/\">Johnson &amp; Johnson<\/a>).<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Are serial felons (<a href=\"https:\/\/prn.fm\/pfizers-history-crimes-misdemeanors\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pfizer<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.corp-research.org\/astrazeneca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AstraZeneca).<\/a><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Are both (<a href=\"https:\/\/childrenshealthdefense.org\/defender\/johnson-johnson-why-trust-vaccine\/\">Johnson &amp; Johnson<\/a>).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Moderna had been trying to \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.modernatx.com\/mrna-technology\/mrna-platform-enabling-drug-discovery-development\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Modernize our RNA<\/a>\u201d (thus the company name) for years, but had never successfully brought any product to market. How nice for the company to get a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2020\/08\/11\/health\/moderna-vaccine-government-deal\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">major cash infusion<\/a> from the government to keep trying.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, all major vaccine makers (save Moderna) have paid out tens of billions of dollars in damages for other products they brought to market when they knew those products would cause injuries and death \u2014 see <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vaildaily.com\/news\/merck-found-liable-ordered-to-pay-damages-in-vioxx-case\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Vioxx<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/edition.cnn.com\/2009\/BUSINESS\/09\/02\/Pfizer.fine\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bextra<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/medicalxpress.com\/news\/2021-03-fda-panel-pfizer-arthritis-drug.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Celebrex<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/helix.northwestern.edu\/article\/thalidomide-tragedy-lessons-drug-safety-and-regulation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Thalidomide<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2019\/08\/26\/health\/oklahoma-opioids-johnson-and-johnson.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">opioids<\/a> as a few examples.<\/p>\n<p>If drug companies willfully choose to put harmful products in the market \u2014 when they can be sued \u2014 why would we trust any product where they have no liability?<\/p>\n<p>Three of the four COVID vaccine makers have been sued for products they brought to market even though they knew injuries and deaths would result.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/childrenshealthdefense.org\/defender\/johnson-johnson-why-trust-vaccine\/\">Johnson &amp; Johnson has lost major lawsuits in 1995, 1996, 2001, 2010, 2011, 2016, 2019<\/a> (For what it\u2019s worth, the company\u2019s vaccine also contains tissues from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.khou.com\/article\/news\/verify\/johnson-and-johnson-aborted-fetal-cells-verify\/285-6d4fe5ba-3763-4d4e-ba32-294f3fa39020\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">aborted fetal cells<\/a>, perhaps a topic for another discussion).<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/childrenshealthdefense.org\/defender\/regulators-major-concerns-pfizers-mrna-vaccine\/\">Pfizer<\/a> has the distinction of the biggest criminal payout in history. The company\u00a0 lost so many lawsuits it\u2019s hard to count. You can <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mp-22.com\/vax\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">check out its rap sheet here<\/a>. Maybe that\u2019s why Pfizer is demanding that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wionews.com\/world\/how-pfizer-tried-to-bully-argentina-and-brazil-in-exchange-for-vaccines-366037\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">countries where they don\u2019t have liability protection<\/a> put up collateral to <a href=\"https:\/\/childrenshealthdefense.org\/defender\/pfizer-demands-collateral-vaccine-injury-lawsuits\/\">cover vaccine-injury lawsuits<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/childrenshealthdefense.org\/defender\/20-countries-suspend-astrazeneca-vaccine\/\">AstraZeneca<\/a> has similarly lost so many lawsuits it\u2019s hard to count. Here\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justice.gov\/opa\/pr\/pharmaceutical-giant-astrazeneca-pay-520-million-label-drug-marketing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">one<\/a>. Here\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/article\/us-astrazeneca-texas-lawsuits-idUSKBN1KT0Q9\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">another<\/a>\u2026you get the point. And in case you missed it, the company had its COVID vaccine suspended in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/astrazeneca-covid-vaccine-countries-suspend-denmark-thailand-batch-blood-clots-2021-3?op=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">at least 18 countries<\/a> over concerns of blood clots, and it <a href=\"https:\/\/thehighwire.com\/videos\/astrazeneca-vaccine-falls-from-grace\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">completely botched its meeting with the FDA<\/a> with numbers from their study that didn\u2019t match.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Oh, and apparently Johnson &amp; Johnson (whose vaccine was granted <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msn.com\/en-us\/news\/us\/fda-grants-emergency-authorization-to-johnson-johnson-vaccine\/ar-BB1e4Skt\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Emergency Use Authorization<\/a> in the U.S.) and AstraZenca (whose vaccine is not approved in the U.S.), <a href=\"https:\/\/childrenshealthdefense.org\/defender\/johnson-johnson-astrazeneca-covid-vaccine-ingredient-mix-up\/\">had a little mix up in their ingredients<\/a> \u2026 in 15 million doses. Oops.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Given the free pass from liability, and the checkered past of these companies, why would we assume that all their vaccines are safe and made completely above board?<\/p>\n<p>Where else in life would we trust someone with that kind of reputation?<\/p>\n<p>To me that makes as much sense as expecting a remorseless, abusive unfaithful lover to become a different person because a judge said deep down they are a good person.<\/p>\n<p>No. I don\u2019t trust them. No liability. No trust. Here\u2019s another reason why I don\u2019t trust them \u2026<\/p>\n<div class=\"covid-on-trial-banner\"><span class=\"cotb-container\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.regulations.gov\/commenton\/FDA-2021-P-0460-0001\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CHD Calls on FDA to Take COVID Vaccines Off the Market &#8211; <span class=\"neon-green\">Submit a Comment<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/div>\n<p><strong>3. Ugly history of attempts to make coronavirus vaccines<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There have been many attempts to make viral vaccines in the past that ended in utter failure \u2014 which is why we did not have a coronavirus vaccine in 2020.<\/p>\n<p>In the 1960s, scientists attempted to make an RSV (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/rsv\/index.html\">respiratory syncytial virus<\/a>) vaccine for infants. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.com\/articles\/s41579-020-00462-y#Sec11\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">In that study<\/a>, they skipped animal trials because the trials weren\u2019t required then.<\/p>\n<p>In the end, the vaccinated infants got much sicker than the unvaccinated infants when exposed to the virus in nature, with 80% of the vaccinated infants requiring hospitalization. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.com\/articles\/s41579-020-00462-y#Sec11\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Two of them died<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>After 2000, scientists made many attempts to create coronavirus vaccines. For the past 20 years, all ended in failure because the animals in the clinical trials got very sick and many died, just like the children in the 1960s.<\/p>\n<p>You can read a summary of this history\/science <a href=\"https:\/\/www.frontiersin.org\/articles\/10.3389\/fmicb.2018.02991\/full\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>. Or if you want to read the individual studies you can check out these links:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">In 2004, attempted vaccine produced <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pmc\/articles\/PMC525089\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">hepatitis in ferrets.<\/a><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">In 2005, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.com\/news\/2005\/050110\/full\/050110-3.html#ref-CR1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">mice<\/a> and<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pnas.org\/content\/102\/3\/797\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> civets<\/a> became sick and more susceptible to coronaviruses after being vaccinated.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">In 2012, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pmc\/articles\/PMC3335060\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ferrets<\/a> became sick and died. And in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pmc\/articles\/PMC3335060\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this study<\/a>, mice and ferrets developed lung disease.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">In 2016, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tandfonline.com\/doi\/full\/10.1080\/21645515.2016.1177688?scroll=top&amp;needAccess=true\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this study<\/a> also produced lung disease in mice.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The typical pattern in the studies referenced above is that the children and the animals produced beautiful antibody responses after being vaccinated. The manufacturers thought they hit the jackpot.<\/p>\n<p>The problem came when the children and animals were exposed to the wild version of the virus.<\/p>\n<p>When that happened, an <a href=\"https:\/\/science.sciencemag.org\/content\/303\/5660\/944.abstract\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">unexplained phenomenon<\/a> called antibody dependent enhancement, also known as <a href=\"https:\/\/childrenshealthdefense.org\/defender\/pfizer-covid-vaccine-trial-pathogenic-priming\/\">vaccine enhanced disease<\/a>, occurred where the immune system produced a \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/childrenshealthdefense.org\/defender\/super-epidemic-autoimmune-diseases\/\">cytokine storm<\/a>\u201d (i.e. overwhelmingly attacked the body) and the children\/animals died.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s the lingering issue: The vaccine makers have no data to suggest their rushed vaccines have overcome that problem.<\/p>\n<p>In other words, never before has any attempt to make a coronavirus vaccine been successful, nor has the gene-therapy technology in <a href=\"https:\/\/childrenshealthdefense.org\/news\/editorial\/an-mrna-vaccine-against-sars-cov-2-preliminary-report-a-researcher-reacts\/\">mRNA<\/a> \u201cvaccines\u201d been safely brought to market.<\/p>\n<p>We might assume that because the companies received <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/media\/releases\/2021\/p0407-covid-19-vaccine-programs.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">billions of dollars<\/a> in government funding, they must have figured out that problem.<\/p>\n<p>Except they don\u2019t know if they have \u2026<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. The \u2018data gaps\u2019 submitted to FDA by vaccine makers<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When vaccine makers submitted their papers to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fda.gov\/drugs\/types-applications\/investigational-new-drug-ind-application#Introduction\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Emergency Use Authorization<\/a> (which is not the same as a full FDA approval), among the many \u201cdata gaps\u201d they reported was that they have nothing in their trials to suggest they overcame that pesky problem of vaccine enhanced disease.<\/p>\n<p>They simply don\u2019t know if the vaccines they\u2019ve made will also produce the same cytokine storm (and deaths) as previous attempts at such products.<\/p>\n<p>As Dr. Joseph Mercola <a href=\"https:\/\/articles.mercola.com\/sites\/articles\/archive\/2021\/03\/08\/pfizer-covid-vaccine.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">points out<\/a> \u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.statnews.com\/2017\/01\/10\/moderna-trouble-mrna\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Previous attempts<\/a> to develop an mRNA-based drug using <a href=\"https:\/\/articles.mercola.com\/sites\/articles\/archive\/2021\/02\/10\/nanoparticles-in-moderna-vaccine.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">lipid nanoparticles<\/a>failed and had to be abandoned because when the dose was too low, the drug had no effect, and when dosed too high, the drug became too toxic. An obvious question is: What has changed that now makes this technology safe enough for mass use?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>If that\u2019s not alarming enough, here are other gaps in the data \u2014 in other words, there is no data to suggest safety or efficacy regarding:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Anyone younger than age 18 or older than age 55.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Pregnant or lactating mothers.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Autoimmune conditions.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Immunocompromised individuals.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">No data on transmission of COVID.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">No data on preventing mortality from COVID.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">No data on duration of protection from COVID.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In case you think I\u2019m making this up, or want to see the actual documents sent to the FDA by Pfizer and Moderna for their Emergency Use Authorization, you can check out <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fda.gov\/media\/144245\/download\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this<\/a>, or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fda.gov\/media\/144434\/download\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this<\/a> respectively. The data gaps can be found starting with page 46 and 48 respectively.<\/p>\n<p>For now let\u2019s turn our eyes to the raw data the vaccine makers used to submit for emergency use authorization \u2026<\/p>\n<p><strong>5. No access to raw data from trials<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Would you like to see the <a href=\"https:\/\/childrenshealthdefense.org\/defender\/peter-doshi-pfizer-moderna-vaccines-need-more-details-raw-data\/\">raw data<\/a> that produced the \u201c90% and 95% effective\u201d claims touted in the news?<\/p>\n<p>Me too. But the companies won\u2019t let us see that data.<\/p>\n<p>As pointed out in <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.bmj.com\/bmj\/2021\/01\/04\/peter-doshi-pfizer-and-modernas-95-effective-vaccines-we-need-more-details-and-the-raw-data\/?utm_source=feedburner&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Feed%3A+bmj%2Fblogs+%28Latest+BMJ+blogs%29&amp;g=w_bmj-com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the BMJ<\/a>, something about the Pfizer and Moderna efficacy claims smells really funny. There were \u201c3,410 total cases of suspected, but unconfirmed COVID-19 in the overall study population, 1,594 occurred in the vaccine group vs. 1,816 in the placebo group.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Wait \u2026 what? Did they fail to do science in their scientific study by not verifying a major variable?<\/p>\n<p>Could they not test those \u201csuspected but unconfirmed\u201d cases to find out if they had <a href=\"https:\/\/childrenshealthdefense.org\/defender_category\/covid\/\">COVID<\/a>?\u00a0 Why not test all 3,410 participants for the sake of accuracy?<\/p>\n<p>Can we only guess they didn\u2019t test because it would mess up their \u201c90-95% effective\u201d claims?<\/p>\n<p>Would it not be prudent for the FDA to expect (demand) the vaccine makers test people who have \u201cCOVID-like symptoms,\u201d and release their raw data so independent third parties could examine how the manufacturers justified the numbers?<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s only every citizen of the world we\u2019re trying to get to take these experimental products \u2014 why did the FDA not require that? Isn\u2019t that the entire purpose of the FDA anyway?<\/p>\n<p>Good question. Foxes guarding the hen house? No liability. No trust.<\/p>\n<p><strong>6. No long-term safety testing<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>With products that have been on the market only a few months, we have no long-term safety data.<\/p>\n<p>In other words, we have no idea what this product will do in the body months or years from now \u2014 for any population.<\/p>\n<p>Given all the risks above (risks that all <a href=\"https:\/\/childrenshealthdefense.org\/defender_category\/big-pharma\/\">pharmaceutical products<\/a> have), would it not be prudent to wait to see if the worst-case scenarios have indeed been avoided?<\/p>\n<p>Would it not make sense to want to fill those pesky \u201cdata gaps\u201d before we try to give this to every man, woman and child on the planet?<\/p>\n<p>That would make sense. But to have that data, they need to test it on people, which leads me to my next point \u2026<\/p>\n<p><strong>7. No informed consent<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>What most who are taking the vaccine don\u2019t know is that because these products are still in clinical trials, anyone who gets the shot is now part of the clinical trial \u2014 part of the experiment.<\/p>\n<p>Those (like me) who do not take it, are part of the control group. Time will tell how this experiment works out.<\/p>\n<p>But, you may be asking, if the vaccines are causing harm, wouldn\u2019t we be seeing that all over the news? Surely the FDA would step in and pause the distribution? (Editor\u2019s note: federal health officials on Tuesday <a href=\"https:\/\/childrenshealthdefense.org\/defender\/johnson-johnson-updated-recommendations\/\">paused<\/a> the Johnsons &amp; Johnson vaccine over concerns related to blood clots).<\/p>\n<p>If the <a href=\"https:\/\/vaers.hhs.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System<\/a> (VAERS) \u2014 the government-run system for reporting deaths and injuries after vaccines \u2014 worked, maybe things would be different, but \u2026<\/p>\n<p><strong>8. Under-reporting of adverse reactions and deaths<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.icandecide.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/Lazarus-report.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a Harvard study<\/a> (commissioned by our own government), less than 1% of all adverse reactions to vaccines are actually submitted to VAERS.<\/p>\n<p>While the <a href=\"https:\/\/childrenshealthdefense.org\/defender\/rfk-jr-david-kessler-covid-vaccine-vaers\/\">problems with VAERS<\/a> have not been fixed (as you can read about in<a href=\"https:\/\/www.icandecide.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Letter-to-Dr.-Walensky-re-anaphylaxis.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this letter to the CDC<\/a>), at the time of this writing, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.medalerts.org\/vaersdb\/findfield.php?TABLE=ON&amp;GROUP1=CAT&amp;EVENTS=ON&amp;VAX=COVID19\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">VAERS reports<\/a> over <a href=\"https:\/\/childrenshealthdefense.org\/defender\/vaers-data-vaccine-injury-trends-continue\/\">2,200 deaths<\/a> from the current COVID vaccines, as well as close to 60,000 adverse reactions.<\/p>\n<p>If those numbers represent only 1% of the total adverse reactions (or .8% to 2% of what <a href=\"https:\/\/jamanetwork.com\/journals\/jama\/fullarticle\/2777417\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this study<\/a> published recently in the JAMA found), you can do the math \u2014 but that equates to somewhere around 110,000 to 220,000 deaths from the vaccines to date, and a ridiculous number of adverse reactions.<\/p>\n<p>Bet you didn\u2019t see that on the news.<\/p>\n<p>That death number would currently still be lower than the 424,000 deaths from medical errors that happen every year (which you probably also don\u2019t hear about), but we are not even six months into the rollout of these vaccines yet.<\/p>\n<p>If you want a deeper dive into the problems with the VAERS reporting system, you can <a href=\"https:\/\/childrenshealthdefense.org\/defender\/vaccine-injury-reporting-systems-utterly-inadequate\/\">check out this<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/childrenshealthdefense.org\/defender\/covid-vaccine-injuries-vaers-cdc\/?utm_source=salsa&amp;eType=EmailBlastContent&amp;eId=9af36675-e8d3-4040-a6be-abcb46990996\">this<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>But then there\u2019s my next point, which could be argued makes these COVID vaccines seem pointless \u2026<\/p>\n<p><strong>9. The vaccines don\u2019t stop transmission or infection<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Aren\u2019t these vaccines supposed to be what we\u2019ve been waiting for to \u201cgo back to normal\u201d? Nope.<\/p>\n<p>Why do you think we\u2019re getting all these <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/lifestyle\/dr-fauci-says-dont-getting-124521340.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">conflicting messages<\/a> about needing to practice social distancing and wear masks after we get a vaccine? The reason is because these vaccines were <a href=\"https:\/\/childrenshealthdefense.org\/defender\/no-guarantee-covid-vaccines-prevent-infection\/\">never designed<\/a> to stop transmission or infection.<\/p>\n<p>If you don\u2019t believe me, I refer you again to the papers submitted to the FDA I linked to above which show that the primary endpoint (what the vaccines are meant to accomplish) is to lower your symptoms.<\/p>\n<p>Sounds like just about every other drug on the market right? That\u2019s it \u2026 lowering your symptoms is the big payoff we\u2019ve been waiting for. Does that seem completely pointless to anyone but me?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">It can\u2019t stop us from spreading the virus.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">It can\u2019t stop the virus from infecting us once we have it.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">To get the vaccine is to accept all the risk of these <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fda.gov\/drugs\/types-applications\/investigational-new-drug-ind-application#Introduction\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">experimental products<\/a> and the best it might do is lower symptoms?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There are plenty of other things I can do to lower my symptoms that don\u2019t involve taking what appears to be a really risky product.<\/p>\n<p>Now for the next logical question: If we\u2019re worried about asymptomatic spreaders, would the vaccine not make it more likely that we are creating asymptomatic spread?<\/p>\n<p>If it indeed reduces symptoms, anyone who gets it might not even know they are sick and thus they are more likely to spread the virus, right?<\/p>\n<p>For what it\u2019s worth, I\u2019ve heard many people say the side effects of the vaccine (especially the second dose) are worse than catching COVID.<\/p>\n<p>I can\u2019t make sense of that either.<\/p>\n<p>Take the risk. Get no protection. Suffer through the vaccine side effects. Keep wearing your mask and social distancing \u2026 and continue to be able to spread the virus.<\/p>\n<p>It gets worse \u2026<\/p>\n<p><strong>10. People are catching COVID after being fully vaccinated<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Talk about a bummer. You get vaccinated and you still catch COVID.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">It\u2019s happening in<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/over-100-fully-vaccinated-people-in-washington-state-test-positive-for-covid-19_3757218.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Washington State.<\/a><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">It\u2019s happening in<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/long-island-woman-tests-covid-19-positive-after-taking-second-vaccine-shot_3757019.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> New York<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">It\u2019s happening in<a href=\"https:\/\/www.deadlinedetroit.com\/articles\/27635\/updated_vaccinated_oakland_county_woman_gets_covid_michigan_identifies_145_others\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Michigan.<\/a><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">It\u2019s happening in<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/3-fully-vaccinated-hawaii-residents-test-positive-for-covid-19_3745456.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Hawaii.<\/a><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">It\u2019s happening in<a href=\"https:\/\/childrenshealthdefense.org\/defender\/states-report-covid-cases-fully-vaccinated\/\"> several other states too<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">It happened to<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lifesitenews.com\/news\/several-nuns-die-after-taking-first-shot-of-covid-vaccine\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> 80% of 35 nuns who got the vaccine in Kentucky<\/a>. Two of them died by the way.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In reality, this phenomenon is probably happening everywhere, but those are the ones making the news now.<\/p>\n<p>Given the reasons above (and what\u2019s below), maybe this doesn\u2019t surprise you, but bummer if you thought the vaccine was a shield to keep you safe.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s not. That was never the point.<\/p>\n<p>If <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/business\/2020\/11\/21\/vaccines-advocates-nurses-doctors-coronavirus\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">66% of healthcare workers<\/a> in L.A. are going to delay or skip the vaccine \u2026 maybe they aren\u2019t wowed by the rushed science either.<\/p>\n<p>Maybe they are watching the shady way deaths and cases are being reported \u2026<\/p>\n<p><strong>11. Overall death rate from COVID<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to the CDC\u2019s own numbers, COVID has a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbc26.com\/news\/coronavirus\/cdc-estimates-covid-19-fatality-rate-including-asymptomatic-cases\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">99.74% survival rate.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Why would I take a risk on a product, that doesn\u2019t stop infection or transmission, to help me overcome a cold that has a .26% chance of killing me \u2014 which actually in my age range is has about a .1% chance of killing me (and .01% chance of killing my kids).<\/p>\n<p>With a bar (death rate) that low, we will be in lockdown every year \u2026 i.e., forever.<\/p>\n<p>But wait, what about the 500,000-plus deaths, that\u2019s alarming right? I\u2019m glad you asked \u2026<\/p>\n<p><strong>12. Bloated COVID death numbers<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Something smells really funny about this one. Never before in the history of death certificates has our own government changed how deaths are reported.<\/p>\n<p>Why now, are we reporting everyone who dies with COVID in their body, as having died of COVID, rather than the co-morbidities that actually took their life?<\/p>\n<p>Until COVID, all coronaviruses (common colds) were never listed as the primary cause of death when someone died of heart disease, cancer, diabetes, auto-immune conditions or any other major comorbidity.<\/p>\n<p>The disease was listed as the cause of death, and a confounding factor like flu or pneumonia was listed on a separate line.<\/p>\n<p>To bloat the number even more, the World Health Organization and the CDC changed their guidelines such that those who are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.who.int\/classifications\/classification-of-diseases\/emergency-use-icd-codes-for-covid-19-disease-outbreak\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">suspected or probable<\/a> (but were never confirmed) of having died of COVID, are also included in the death numbers.<\/p>\n<p>If we are going to do that then should we not go back and change the numbers of all past cold and flu seasons so we can compare apples to apples when it comes to death rates?<\/p>\n<p>According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/nchs\/nvss\/vsrr\/covid_weekly\/index.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CDCs own numbers<\/a>, (scroll down to the section \u201ccomorbidities and other conditions\u201d), only 6% of the deaths being attributed to COVID are instances where COVID seems to be the only issue at hand.<\/p>\n<p>In other words, reduce the death numbers you see on the news by 94% and you have what is likely the real numbers of deaths from just COVID.<\/p>\n<p>Even if the <a href=\"https:\/\/thehighwire.com\/videos\/covid-origin-controversy-reignited\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">former CDC director<\/a> is correct and COVID-19 was a <a href=\"https:\/\/childrenshealthdefense.org\/defender\/congress-investigation-nih-treacherous-research-wuhan-lab\/\">lab-enhanced virus<\/a> (see Reason #14 below), a .26% death rate is still in line with the viral death rate that circles the planet every year.<\/p>\n<p>Then there\u2019s this <a href=\"https:\/\/childrenshealthdefense.org\/defender\/truth-rfk-jr-david-martin-fauci-moderna-vaccine\/\">Fauci guy<\/a>. I\u2019d really love to trust him, but besides the fact that he hasn\u2019t treated one COVID patient, you should probably know \u2026<\/p>\n<p><strong>13. Fauci and others at NIAID own patents on the Moderna vaccine<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Thanks to the <a href=\"https:\/\/research.wisc.edu\/bayhdole\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bayh-Dole Act<\/a>, government workers are allowed to file patents on any research they do using taxpayer funding.<\/p>\n<p>Tony Fauci owns more than 1,000 patents (see <a href=\"https:\/\/childrenshealthdefense.org\/defender\/truth-rfk-jr-naomi-wolf-constitutional-rights\/?utm_source=salsa&amp;eType=EmailBlastContent&amp;eId=26b5c090-223d-4d5d-9526-e0f692535e8c\">this video for more details<\/a>), including patents being used on the Moderna vaccine \u2026 for which he approved government funding.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) \u2014 which oversees the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), of which Fauci is the director \u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.axios.com\/moderna-nih-coronavirus-vaccine-ownership-agreements-22051c42-2dee-4b19-938d-099afd71f6a0.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">claims joint ownership<\/a> of Moderna\u2019s vaccine.<\/p>\n<p>Does anyone else see this as a major conflict of interest, or criminal even?<\/p>\n<p>I say criminal because there\u2019s also this pesky problem that makes me even more distrustful of Fauci, NIAD, and the NIH in general \u2026<\/p>\n<p><strong>14. Fauci is on the hot seat for illegal gain-of-function research<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>What is \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/ahrp.org\/what-is-gain-of-function-research-who-is-at-high-risk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">gain-of-function<\/a>\u201d research? It\u2019s where scientists attempt to make viruses gain functions \u2014 i.e. make them more transmissible and deadlier.<\/p>\n<p>Sounds at least a touch unethical, right? How could that possibly be helpful?<\/p>\n<p>Our government agreed, and 2014, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencemag.org\/news\/2014\/10\/us-halts-funding-new-risky-virus-studies-calls-voluntary-moratorium\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">banned the practice<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>So what did the Fauci-led NIAID do? They pivoted and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailysignal.com\/2021\/04\/06\/fauci-must-explain-why-oversight-bypassed-for-funding-to-wuhan-lab-congressman-says\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">outsourced the gain-of-function research<\/a> (in coronaviruses no less) to China \u2014 to the tune of a $600K grant.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Fauci, you have some explaining to do \u2026 and I hope the cameras are recording when you have to defend your actions.<\/p>\n<p>For now, let\u2019s turn our attention back to the virus \u2026<\/p>\n<p><strong>15. The virus continues to mutate<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Not only does the virus (like all viruses) continue to mutate, but according to world-renowned vaccine developer <a href=\"https:\/\/childrenshealthdefense.org\/defender\/vanden-bossche-mass-vaccination\/\">Geert Vanden Bossche<\/a> (whom you\u2019ll meet below if you don\u2019t know him) it\u2019s mutating about every 10 hours.<\/p>\n<p>How in the world are we going to keep creating vaccines to keep up with that level of mutation? We\u2019re not.<\/p>\n<p>Might that also explain why fully vaccinated people are <a href=\"https:\/\/childrenshealthdefense.org\/defender\/states-report-covid-cases-fully-vaccinated\/\">continuing to catch COVID<\/a>?<\/p>\n<p>Why, given that natural immunity has never ultimately failed humanity, do we suddenly not trust it?<\/p>\n<p>Why, if I ask questions like the above, or post links like what you find above, will my thoughts be <a href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/Technology\/facebook-announces-plans-remove-vaccine-misinformation-content\/story?id=75760191\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">deleted<\/a> from all major social media platforms?<\/p>\n<p>That brings me to the next troubling problem I have with these vaccines \u2026<\/p>\n<p><strong>16. Censorship and the complete absence of scientific debate<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I can\u2019t help but get snarky here, so humor me.<\/p>\n<p>How did you enjoy all those nationally and globally televised, robust debates put on by public health officials, and broadcast simultaneously on every major news station?<\/p>\n<p>Wasn\u2019t it great hearing from the best minds in medicine, virology, epidemiology, economics and vaccinology, from all over the world. as they vigorously and respectfully debated things like:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Lockdowns<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Mask wearing<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Social-distancing<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Vaccine <a href=\"https:\/\/childrenshealthdefense.org\/defender\/fda-misled-public-pfizer-vaccine-efficacy\/\">efficacy<\/a> and safety trials<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">How to screen for susceptibility to vaccine injury<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Therapeutics, (i.e. non-vaccine treatment options)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Wasn\u2019t it great seeing public health officials (who never treated anyone with COVID) have their \u201cscience\u201d questioned?<\/p>\n<p>Wasn\u2019t it great seeing the FDA panel publicly grill the vaccine makers in prime time as they stood in the hot-seat of tough questions about products of which they have no liability?<\/p>\n<p>Oh, wait \u2026 you <a href=\"https:\/\/childrenshealthdefense.org\/defender\/how-fda-approved-pfizer-covid-vaccine-warp-speed\/\">didn\u2019t see those debates<\/a>? No, you didn\u2019t. Because they never happened.<\/p>\n<p>What happened instead was heavy-handed censorship of all but one narrative.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtontimes.com\/news\/2021\/feb\/17\/mark-zuckerberg-violating-own-policy-early-vaccine\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mark Zuckerberg can question vaccine safety<\/a>, but I can\u2019t? When did the <a href=\"https:\/\/constitution.congress.gov\/constitution\/amendment-1\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">First Amendment<\/a> become a suggestion?<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s the FIRST Amendment, Mark \u2014 the one our founders thought was most important.<\/p>\n<p>With so much at stake, why are we fed only one narrative. Shouldn\u2019t many perspectives be heard and professionally debated?<\/p>\n<p>What has happened to science?<\/p>\n<p>What has happened to the scientific method of always challenging our assumptions?<\/p>\n<p>What happened to lively debate in this country, or at least in Western society?<\/p>\n<p>Why did anyone who disagrees with WHO, or the CDC get censored so heavily?<\/p>\n<p>Is the science of public health a religion now \u2014 or is science supposed to be about debate?<\/p>\n<p>If someone says \u201cthe science is settled\u201d that\u2019s how I know I\u2019m dealing with someone who is closed minded. By definition science (especially biological science) is never settled.<\/p>\n<p>If it was, it would be dogma, not science.<\/p>\n<p>I want to be a good citizen. I really do.<\/p>\n<p>If lockdowns work, I want to do my part and stay home.<\/p>\n<p>If masks work, I want to wear them.<\/p>\n<p>If social distancing is effective, I want to comply.<\/p>\n<p>But, if there is evidence they don\u2019t (<a href=\"https:\/\/thewallwillfall.org\/2020\/06\/23\/masks-dont-work-a-review-of-science-relevant-to-covid-19-social-policy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">masks for example<\/a>), I want to hear that evidence, too.<\/p>\n<p>If highly credentialed scientists have different opinions, I want to know what they think. I want a chance to hear their arguments and make up my own mind.<\/p>\n<p>I don\u2019t think I\u2019m the smartest person in the world, but I think I can think. Maybe I\u2019m weird, but if someone is censored, then I really want to hear what they think. Don\u2019t you?<\/p>\n<p>To all my friends who don\u2019t have a problem with censorship, will you have the same opinion when what you think is censored?<\/p>\n<p>Is censorship not the technique of dictators, tyrants and greedy, power-hungry people?<\/p>\n<p>Is it not a sign that those who are doing the censoring know it\u2019s the only way they can win?<\/p>\n<p>What if a man who spent his entire life developing vaccines was willing to put his entire reputation on the line and call on all global leaders to immediately stop the COVID vaccines because of problems with the science?<\/p>\n<p>What if he pleaded for an open-scientific debate on a global stage?<\/p>\n<p>Would you want to hear what he has to say? Would you want to see the debate he\u2019s asking for?<\/p>\n<p><strong>17. I already had COVID<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I didn\u2019t enjoy it. It was a nasty cold for two days:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Unrelenting butt\/low-back aches<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Very low energy<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Low-grade fever<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It was weird not being able to smell anything for a couple days. A week later, coffee still tasted a little \u201coff.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But I survived.<\/p>\n<p>Now it appears (as it always has) that I have <a href=\"https:\/\/pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/33408181\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">beautiful, natural, life-long immunity<\/a> \u2014 not something likely to wear off in a few months if I get the vaccine. In my body, and my household, COVID is over.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, now that I\u2019ve had it, there is evidence the COVID vaccine <a href=\"https:\/\/childrenshealthdefense.org\/defender\/scientists-challenge-health-officials-on-vaccinating-covid\/?utm_source=salsa&amp;eType=EmailBlastContent&amp;eId=f9f42235-fc83-4837-a2e2-c8362cc97140\">might actually be more dangerous<\/a> for me.<\/p>\n<p>That is not a risk I\u2019m willing to take.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The above are just my reasons for not wanting the vaccine. Maybe my reasons make sense to you, maybe they don\u2019t.<\/p>\n<p>Whatever does makes sense to you, hopefully we can still be friends.<\/p>\n<p>I for one think there\u2019s a lot more that we have in common than what separates us.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">We all want to live in a world of freedom.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">We all want to do our part to help others and to live well.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">We all want the right to express our opinions without fearing we\u2019ll be censored or viciously attacked.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">We all deserve to have access to all the facts so we can make informed decisions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Agree or disagree with me, I\u2019ll treat you no differently.<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019re a human just as worthy of love and respect as anyone else.
