\u201cThis government is completely contrary to the will of the people as expressed emphatically in the last election,\u201d the letter said. \u201cEvery effort must be made to prevent this government from being formed. It\u2019s not too late.\u201d<\/div>\n

After a massive wave of backlash for the letter, Druckman told Channel 12 he \u201cwould not have imagined that \u2018every effort\u2019 means doing something violent. Anyone who knows me knows that\u2019s not what I meant.\u201d<\/div>\n

Not all opposition to the government is incitement. In my years in politics, I\u2019ve learned that leaders must be able to handle criticism. But there is a fine line between criticism and worrisome behavior.<\/div>\n
