Fauci is \u201cnot telling the truth, and promulgating bad science\u201d<\/h3>\n

Senator Rand Paul blasted Dr Fauci Wednesday, labelling him \u201can elitist\u201d who believes Americans are not smart enough to make their own decisions about their health.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Appearing on Newsmax, Paul noted \u201cI think it\u2019s this \u2014 it\u2019s one-size-fits-all and his idea that the regular people aren\u2019t smart enough to make these regular decisions. So he just wants to treat everybody the same.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe one-size-fits-all strategy that everybody must get vaccinated ignores the science,\u201d the Senator continued, adding \u201cIt\u2019s mostly that he\u2019s not telling the truth once again because he is an elitist, and he thinks we can\u2019t handle the truth.\u201d<\/p>\n

Paul then highlighted the fact that Fauci knowingly\u00a0lied about the efficacy of face masks<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn private, he said in emails last spring that most of the masks you can get over the counter don\u2019t work because the virus particles are too small and go right through them. That\u2019s still true. They don\u2019t work. There\u2019s no value. Yet, we\u2019re mandating them by law because \u2014 and this is where I really have a disagreement with Fauci, one he\u2019s not telling the truth, and promulgating bad science, pseudoscience,\u201d Paul urged.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo your eighth grade running the mile or half-mile wearing the mask outside is probably not going to be good for their health, it\u2019s not comfortable, and there\u2019s no science to say you\u2019re preventing disease,\u201d Paul continued.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s really just a disservice to the public,\u201d The Senator asserted, explaining \u201cThe main thing about the mask when he said they didn\u2019t work at all was he didn\u2019t want people buying the N95 masks and the people in the hospital, the doctors not having enough. So he just admits that he lied, but it was a lie for our own good, supposedly.\u201d<\/p>\n
