Pound for pound, as the saying goes, Israeli apartheid oppression tops the list of gangster state ruthlessness during its existence compared to other small world community rogue states.<\/p>\n
New Israeli management continues its predecessors\u2019 crimes of war, against humanity and other atrocities against long-suffering Palestinians \u2014 with no change of longstanding Jewish state wicked ways in prospect.<\/p>\n
Countless examples explain.<\/p>\n
On Wednesday, B\u2019Tselem reported the following:<\/p>\n
On May 25, Occupied West Bank Israeli police blocked Ahmad \u2018Abdu\u2019s car with him in it.<\/p>\n
Video footage published by B\u2019Tselem showed police firing live rounds at him unprovoked.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe apparently injured \u2018Abdu open(ed) the right door, at which point the officers surround(ed) the car, open(ed) several of its doors, apparently dragg(ed) (him) out, and then le(ft) without extending him first aid,\u201d B\u2019Tselem explained.<\/p>\n
A fake news statement, fooling no one, falsely claimed that Abdu (was) killed as part of an \u201carrest operation (sic).\u201d<\/p>\n
B\u2019Tselem minced no words saying \u201c(o)pening live fire at a person sitting in his car, without even trying to arrest him, is not an \u2018attempted arrest.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is a targeted killing\u201d \u2014 amounting to likely premeditated cold-blooded murder, a longstanding Israeli specialty.<\/p>\n
Eyewitnesses said Adbu was alive when Israeli killer cops left him unaided to bleed to death.<\/p>\n
Abrasions on his body showed he dragged several meters from his car.<\/p>\n
After police left, witnesses called an ambulance for help.<\/p>\n
Taken to a hospital, \u2018Abdu was pronounced dead on arrival, one of thousands of Palestinians eliminated by Israeli apartheid viciousness.<\/p>\n
Most always in response to its crimes of war, against humanity and other rule of law breaches, the world community yawns and does nothing.<\/p>\n
The following night, IDF soldiers arrested four of \u2018Abdu\u2019s cousins, continuing Israel\u2019s reign of terror against his family.<\/p>\n
According to B\u2019Tselem, Israeli border police falsely accused \u2018Abdu of being a \u201cterror accomplice (sic).\u201d<\/p>\n
No arrest attempt was made for what clearly was premeditated murder.<\/p>\n
B\u2019Tselem stressed that \u201cdocumented\u201d evidence showed that Israeli police\u2026shot and killed him the moment they stepped out of their vehicle.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cIn its statement, Border Police did not even argue that \u2018Abdu posed any kind of danger to the force, and provided no explanation whatsoever for the lethal shooting.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cOpening live fire at a person sitting in his car (threatening no one), without even trying to arrest him, is\u201d premeditated murder.<\/p>\n
Separately, the Addameer Prisoner Support and Human Rights group called for Israeli political prisoner Amal Nakhleh\u2019s release.<\/p>\n
Aged-17, he was abducted and imprisoned uncharged \u2014 even though afflicted by myasthenia gravis.<\/p>\n
According to myasthenia.org, it\u2019s \u201ca chronic autoimmune neuromuscular disorder that is characterized by fluctuating weakness of the voluntary muscle groups.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThere is no known cure for MG, but there are many effective treatments that can make managing life with MG easier.\u201d<\/p>\n
In brutalizing Israeli confinement, Amal is denied vitally needed treatment \u2014 causing pain and suffering, endangering his life.<\/p>\n
Along with MG, Amal\u2019s recent cancer surgery left him with \u201csevere headaches and shortness of breath,\u201d Addameer explained.<\/p>\n
Because of his major health issues that require close monitoring and treatment, UN human rights officials called for \u201call necessary interim measures to halt alleged violations\u2026prevent their re-occurrence\u2026(and) ensure the accountability of any person responsible.\u201d<\/p>\n
Amal was politically imprisoned for six months, subject to holding him indefinitely as Israel\u2019s discretion \u2014 based on what Addameer called \u201csecret material\u201d unavailable to him or his attorney, adding:<\/p>\n
His case \u201chighlights the Israeli apartheid regime\u2019s systematic targeting of Palestinian children, demonstrating that no one is exempt from Israel\u2019s arbitrary policy of administrative detention and deliberate medical neglect, not even vulnerable Palestinian children or when grave health conditions emerge.\u201d<\/p>\n
Israeli regimes deny Palestinian children rights afforded them by international law \u2014 including the Convention on the Rights of the Child, ratified by Israel in October 1991.<\/p>\n
Addameer called on activists and groups for justice to join its \u201ccall to #FreeAmalNakhleh by sending a letter via email or fax to the Israeli Central Command Israeli Intelligence Officer Naama Rosen Greenberg to call for the immediate release of child detainee Amal Nakhleh, an end to the arbitrary detention of Palestinian children, and an end to the systematic practice of administrative detention more broadly.\u201d<\/p>\n
A Final Comment<\/p>\n
On Wednesday, the Gaza-based Palestinian Center for Human Rights (PCHR) said the aftermath of Israeli aggression on the Strip last month left Gazans endangered by \u201cunexploded missiles and ordnance whose effects threaten their lives at any given moment,\u201d adding:<\/p>\n
\u201cDue to lack of equipment and capabilities resulting from the tightened and arbitrary Israeli-imposed closure on the\u2026Strip, the technical crews at (its) Ministry of Interior\u2026could not destroy or deal with the remnants of the Israeli weapons and munitions launched during the latest Israeli\u201d aggression.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis (heightened) a humanitarian catastrophe that threatens civilians\u2019 lives in\u201d Gaza.<\/p>\n
\u201cIsraeli warplanes destroyed the Explosives Engineering Department and its equipment in Gaza City last month\u2026deepening the crisis (by) crippl(ing) the efficiency work of the department that has become incapable of dealing with the suspicious and explosive objects.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Netanyahu and Bennett regimes bear full responsibility for what now threatens Gazan lives and well-being in the aftermath of IDF aggression.<\/p>\n
