Of the 700 physicians responding to\u00a0an internet survey<\/a>\u00a0by the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS),\u00a0nearly 60 percent<\/a>\u00a0said they were not \u201cfully vaccinated\u201d against COVID.<\/p>\n This contrasts with the\u00a0claim by the American Medical Association<\/a>\u00a0that 96 percent of practicing physicians are fully vaccinated. This was\u00a0based on 300 respondents<\/a>.<\/p>\n Neither survey represents a random sample of all American physicians, but the AAPS survey shows that physician support for the mass injection campaign is far from unanimous.<\/p>\n \u201cIt is wrong to call a person who declines a shot an \u2018anti-vaxxer,\u2019\u201d states AAPS executive director Jane Orient, M.D. \u201cVirtually no physicians are \u2018anti-antibiotics\u2019 or \u2018anti-surgery,\u2019 whereas all are opposed to treatments that they think are unnecessary, more likely to harm than to benefit an individual patient, or inadequately tested.\u201d<\/p>\n The AAPS survey also showed that 54 percent of physician respondents were aware of patients suffering a \u201csignificant adverse reaction.\u201d Of the unvaccinated physicians,\u00a080 percent said \u201cI believe risk of shots exceeds risk of disease<\/a>,\u201d and 30% said \u201cI already had COVID.\u201d<\/p>\n Other reasons for declining the shot<\/a>\u00a0included unknown long-term effects, use of aborted fetal tissue, \u201cit\u2019s experimental,\u201d availability of effective early treatment, and reports of deaths and blood clots.<\/p>\n Of 560 practicing physicians,\u00a056 percent said they offered early treatment\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0for COVID.<\/p>\n Nonphysicians were also invited to participate in the survey. Of some 5,300 total participants,\u00a02,548 volunteered comments<\/a>\u00a0about associated adverse effects of which they were aware. These included death, amputation, paralysis, stillbirth, menstrual irregularities, blindness, seizures, and heart issues.<\/p>\n \u201cCausality is not proven. However, many of these episodes might have resulted in a huge product liability or malpractice award if they had occurred after a new drug,\u201d stated Dr. Orient. \u201cPurveyors of these COVID products are protected against lawsuits.\u201d<\/p>\n
