CDC’s Walensky won’t admit illegals spreading COVID at border; promises ‘guidelines’ someday<\/h1>\n

The more CDC director\u00a0Rochelle Walensky\u00a0talks, the\u00a0worse she sounds.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Along with\u00a0her well noted controversial\u00a0statements<\/a>\u00a0about\u00a0returning to mask-wearing<\/a>\u00a0and a\u00a0nationally mandated COVID vaccine<\/a>, the latter\u00a0of which she walked back to some extent, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention\u00a0director threw out other\u00a0nutty\u00a0statements that are worth noting \u2014 if for nothing else, then the fact that Joe Biden says he defers to her and her\u00a0continuously mistaken\u00a0bureaucrats at CDC.<\/p>\n

Breitbart News<\/a>\u00a0reported that a question about illegal border-crossers\u00a0spreading COVID, from\u00a0Fox News’s Bret Baier, triggered this exchange:<\/p>\n

Baier said, “But do you know the\u00a0surge, how the surge of illegal\u00a0immigrants with COVID is\u00a0affecting the overall rate, you\u00a0know, it sounds like the\u00a0percentages down there on the\u00a0border are astronomical?”<\/p>\n

Walensky said, “Yeah, you know, I would say\u00a0that the percentages in the\u00a0southern part of this country\u00a0are really quite high. I\u00a0don’t necessarily think we can\u00a0attribute all of that to what’s\u00a0going on at the southern border.<\/strong>\u00a0I\u00a0think what we really need to\u00a0do is spend our time getting our\u00a0communities vaccinated to\u00a0getting our individuals\u00a0vaccinated to prevent disease\u00a0from transmitting in our\u00a0communities.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Basically, she was attempting to brush off the obvious problem of unvetted illegal aliens coming into the U.S. and spreading COVID throughout the country.\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0With the U.S. paying for their tickets, either by airplane or bus, to their choice of destinations, it’s pretty obvious that a disease vector, courtesy of the Biden administration, is in place.\u00a0\u00a0During the Trump administration, that avenue of spread was shut down firmly through Title 42, throwing illegal migrants back on COVID concerns, based on protecting the country.<\/p>\n

These days, there’s nonsense like\u00a0this going on<\/a>:<\/p>\n

Baier said, “One woman wrote in, My\u00a0in-laws live in Austria, they\u00a0cannot come here to see their\u00a0six-month-old baby because of the\u00a0EU travel band even as migrants\u00a0come across the southern border\u00a0from other countries with more\u00a0COVID and worse vaccine\u00a0performance and they are allowed\u00a0in. Is that a problem, Dr. Walensky?<\/p>\n

Walensky said,\u00a0“We’re working, um, at the CDC\u00a0to provide technical assistance\u00a0for all areas of travel as well\u00a0as to provide technical\u00a0assistance at the southern\u00a0border. So as people come in, we\u00a0are keeping migrants, as well as\u00a0those communities, as safe as\u00a0possible with the technical\u00a0assistance and infection\u00a0prevention guidelines from the\u00a0CDC.”<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
