VAERS Latest Data Include 2 New Reports of Teen Deaths Following COVID Vaccine, as Total Reports of Deaths Exceed 12,000<\/h1>\n

VAERS data released today by the CDC showed a total of 545,338 reports of adverse events from all age groups following COVID vaccines, including 12,366 deaths and 70,105 serious injuries between Dec. 14, 2020 and July 30, 2021.<\/h3>\n

Data released today by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) showed the total number of reports (including foreign and U.S.) of deaths following COVID vaccination, across all age groups, surpassed 12,000<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The data comes directly from reports submitted to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System<\/a>(VAERS), the primary government-funded system for reporting adverse vaccine reactions in the U.S.<\/p>\n

Every Friday, VAERS<\/a> makes public all vaccine injury reports received as of a specified date, usually about a week prior to the release date. Reports submitted to VAERS require further investigation before a causal relationship can be confirmed.<\/p>\n

Data released today show that between Dec. 14, 2020 and July 30, 2021, a total of 545,338 total adverse events<\/a> were reported to VAERS, including 12,366 deaths<\/a> \u2014 an increase of 426 over the previous week. There were 70,105 reports of serious injuries<\/a>, including deaths, during the same time period \u2014 up 7,003 compared with the previous week.<\/p>\n

Excluding \u201cforeign reports<\/a>\u201d filed in VAERS, 443,201 adverse events<\/a>, including 5,739 deaths<\/a> and 35,881 serious injuries<\/a>, were reported in the U.S.<\/p>\n

In the U.S., 344.9 million<\/a> COVID vaccine doses had been administered as of July 30. This includes<\/a>: 139 million doses of Moderna\u2019s<\/a> vaccine, 193 million doses of Pfizer<\/a> and 13 million doses of the Johnson & Johnson<\/a> (J&J) COVID vaccine.<\/p>\n

Of the 5,739 U.S. deaths reported as of July 30, 13% occurred<\/a> within 24 hours of vaccination, 19% occurred<\/a> within 48 hours of vaccination and 34% occurred<\/a> in people who experienced an onset of symptoms within 48 hours of being vaccinated.<\/p>\n
