Is it any wonder that Americans are confused about the effectiveness of masks, about actual COVID death rates, or the effectiveness of COVID vaccines\u2014especially after the dishonest Dr. Fauci, who flip-flopped back and forth about the effectiveness of mask-wearing during the COVID pandemic, recently recommended vaccinated people continue to wear masks, especially around others who may have compromised immunity?<\/p>\n

The liberal media is quick to insinuate that \u201cTrump supporters,\u201d or less-educated, stupid white people are the problem. The truth is, as usual, when it comes to the dishonest media, nothing could be further from the truth\u2026<\/p>\n

According to a paper by researchers from Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh, Americans with PhDs are the most hesitant when it comes to getting the COVID jab. According to the survey, they are also the least likely to change their minds about getting the shot.<\/h2>\n

Daily Mail<\/a>\u00a0reports \u2013 Researchers surveyed just over five million US adults in an online survey, with 10,000 reporting that they were educated to Ph.D. level.<\/p>\n

The report showed a surprising U-shaped correlation between willingness to get a Covid vaccine and education level \u2013 with the highest hesitancy among those least and most educated.<\/p>\n

Of the 5million surveyed, 20.8 percent who were hesitant had a high school education or less, and 23.9 percent had a Ph.D.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

There has been a universal assumption among many that education level negatively correlated with vaccine hesitancy \u2013 more educated people are more likely to receive the vaccine.<\/h2>\n

But researchers also found that within the first five months of 2021, the largest decrease in skepticism about getting the vaccine was among the least educated \u2013 those with a high school education or less.<\/p>\n

By May, reluctance to get vaccinated held constant in the most educated group \u2013 those with PhDs.<\/p>\n

\u2018Those with PhDs were the only education groups without a decrease in hesitancy,\u2019 the paper read.<\/p>\n

It attributed their \u2018refusal or reluctance to be vaccinated\u2019 to \u2018slowed vaccination uptake, potentially prolonging the pandemic.\u2019<\/p>\n

Reasons for vaccine hesitancy vary, according to the survey.<\/p>\n

The biggest drops were among\u00a0black and Hispanic populations<\/em>\u00a0\u2013 decreasing by as much as half \u2013 and people with a high school education or less.<\/h2>\n
