The department has administered the vaccine to 43 percent of workers, though other officers have likely received the vaccine on their own. Other unions have made their opposition clear: The firefighters\u2019 union said the city should allow members who test positive for antibodies to receive exemptions from the mandate. How are we going to get them tested? What happens to us if we have a side effect?
