{"id":83782,"date":"2021-09-10T08:58:44","date_gmt":"2021-09-10T12:58:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/stateofthenation.co\/?p=83782"},"modified":"2021-09-10T08:58:44","modified_gmt":"2021-09-10T12:58:44","slug":"us-hospitals-killing-flu-covid-patients","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stateofthenation.co\/?p=83782","title":{"rendered":"<b>US Hospitals Killing Flu\/Covid Patients<\/b>"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--more-->by Stephen Lendman<\/p>\n<p>US hospitals can be hazardous to health instead of the other way around \u2014 notably ones following state-approved\/AMA-recommended flu\/covid treatment protocols with harming it in mind.<\/p>\n<p>Hospitals are incentivized to artificially inflate numbers of flu\/covid patients.<\/p>\n<p>Payments received for patients with viral symptoms who are treated with recommended drugs and placed on a ventilator receive three-fold higher<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>amounts than if safe and effective protocols are followed.<\/p>\n<p>According to Dr. Scott Jensen earlier, the AMA encourages physicians to over-count flu\/covid deaths, adding:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMedicare\u2026determin(ed) that if you have a (flu\/covid) admission to the hospital you get $13,000.\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf that patient goes on a ventilator you get $39,000, three times as much.\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cNobody can tell me after 35 years in the world of medicine that sometimes those kinds of things impact on what we do.\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Co-author of the Great Barrington Declaration Jay Bhattacharya MD expressed grave concerns about \u201cabout the damaging physical and mental health impacts of the prevailing\u201d flu\/covid policies, adding:<\/p>\n<p>Protocols followed by hospitals and many physicians risk \u201cgreater excess mortality.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>They\u2019re polar opposite what public health should be all about.<\/p>\n<p>Founder of Doctors for Truth Dr. Elke De Klerk earlier said \u201cwe now know that (so-called covid) is a normal flu virus\u201d and should be treated accordingly.<\/p>\n<p>We also know that natural immunity, good health practices, along with known safe and effective protocols for treating viral illnesses protect what\u2019s too important to lose best of all.<\/p>\n<p>We should know that hospitalization<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>may be a life-threatening experience.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Byram Ardis stressed that US public health agencies knew about adverse events from recommended flu\/covid protocols before endorsing their use.<\/p>\n<p>Along with toxic jabs, they include hazardous to health remdesivir, dexamethasone, and vancomycin.<\/p>\n<p>Used by US hospitals, they\u2019re causing flu\/covid deaths while known safe and effective protocols are shunned all too often.<\/p>\n<p>According to WND News:<\/p>\n<p>On August 19, 74-year-old Pete Lopez \u201cwas put on a ventilator\u2026at Memorial Hermann Sugar Land Hospital near Houston after testing positive for\u201d flu\/covid.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201chospital refused to administer (ivermectin) in defiance of a court order, according to the family\u201d \u2014 an unacceptable statement saying:<\/p>\n<p>\u201c(P)hysicians diagnose and treat patients consistent with best medical practices (sic).\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe (Pharma-controlled) FDA has not authorized or approved ivermectin for the treatment or prevention of\u201d flu\/covid (sic).<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cData currently available does not demonstrate that ivermectin is safe or effective against (flu\/covid) infection (sic).\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Memorial Hermann Sugar Land Hospital killed Pete Lopez for not treating him with FDA-approved, known safe and effective ivermectin for the viral illness.<\/p>\n<p>Many other US hospitals likely follow the same health-destroying policy as recommended by the AMA.<\/p>\n<p>Last spring, whistleblower nurse Erin Maria Olzewski exposed \u201cfraud, negligence and greed\u201d at New York City\u2019s Elmhurst Hospital.<\/p>\n<p>Causing avoidable deaths, she accused the facility of \u201cmak(ing) Iraqi emergency rooms look like the lobby of the Ritz-Carlton\u201d by comparison, adding:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe very first day (at Elmhurst) I was shocked. It was something I\u2019ve never seen before.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPatients were alone in the rooms on ventilators (with) no family allowed in\u201d for support and advocacy.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cPeople were just dying from gross negligence, medical malpractice, (and) mismanagement.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201c(T)hat was really difficult to swallow. Everything made sense to me at that moment of why there were so many deaths in New York.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere was such mismanagement, and we knew it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA lot of nurses and doctors, half of them looked away because the pay checks were good, and the other half were scared to say anything.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd if you did say anything, you ended up in my situation. I was fired for advocating for my patients.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI would like to see a federal investigation into Elmhurst Hospital, and nationwide, especially in the hardest hit areas.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou don\u2019t see any private hospital getting hit hard, Why is that?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSome of (what\u2019s going on is) basic negligence: clean-up crews skipping certain rooms, residents wearing their PPE in the wrong way, patients getting pumped full of the wrong medications.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA lot of it (is) straight-up malpractice.\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI saw patients test negative for (flu\/covid), only to be shuttled off to a\u2026floor (for viral patients) where they were sure to contract the illness.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI saw residents write off a 37-year-old man as \u2018Do Not Resuscitate,\u2019 when his family had explicitly told us to try to save him at all costs.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOne of my favorite patients died twenty minutes after I left the room, when a medical student botched a simple procedure.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJust as chilling were the careless physicians who wrote patients off because they were \u2018going to die anyway.\u2019 \u201d<\/p>\n<p>She was \u201cupset and angry\u201d for being prevented from helping flu\/covid patients safely and effectively.<\/p>\n<p>She documented the above and much more in her book, titled \u201cUndercover Epicenter Nurse: How Fraud, Negligence, and Greed Led to Unnecessary Deaths at Elmhurst Hospital.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She explained how hospitals bill insurers, Medicare and Medicaid \u201cbased on codes and procedures,\u201d adding:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSometimes, they put down codes that are exaggerations or outright lies in order to get more money.\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s called \u2018up-coding,\u2019 and that\u2019s fraud.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPutting someone on a ventilator when they don\u2019t need it isn\u2019t just gross negligence.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s also up-coding\u201d that risks serious harm to health, including avoidable deaths.<\/p>\n<p>Documenting what she saw firsthand, she compiled a record of hospital staff \u201cmurdering patients.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI recorded just the complete and absolute disregard for human life,\u201d she stressed.<\/p>\n<p>Medicine is supposed to be all about protecting and preserving health.<\/p>\n<p>After seasonal flu\/influenza was deceptively renamed covid early last year with diabolical aims in mind, all too often it\u2019s the other way around \u2014 especially when hospitalized.<\/p>\n<p>___<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/stephenlendman.org\/2021\/09\/us-hospitals-killing-flu-covid-patients\/\">https:\/\/stephenlendman.org\/2021\/09\/us-hospitals-killing-flu-covid-patients\/<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[1],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-83782","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-uncategorized"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/stateofthenation.co\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/83782","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/stateofthenation.co\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/stateofthenation.co\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/stateofthenation.co\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/stateofthenation.co\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcomments&post=83782"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/stateofthenation.co\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/83782\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/stateofthenation.co\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fmedia&parent=83782"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/stateofthenation.co\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcategories&post=83782"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/stateofthenation.co\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Ftags&post=83782"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
