{"id":85732,"date":"2021-09-23T11:14:18","date_gmt":"2021-09-23T15:14:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/stateofthenation.co\/?p=85732"},"modified":"2021-09-23T11:14:31","modified_gmt":"2021-09-23T15:14:31","slug":"bidens-treacherous-treatment-of-u-s-military-personnel-is-utterly-despicable","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stateofthenation.co\/?p=85732","title":{"rendered":"Biden&#8217;s Treacherous Treatment of U.S. Military Personnel is Utterly Despicable"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1><strong>Biden Pushing For Dishonourable Discharges, Court Martials For Troops Who Refuse Vaccines<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p><!--more-->By Steve Watson<br \/>\nSummit News<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Biden administration is pushing for dishonourable discharges and even court martialing for troops who disobey orders to get COVID vaccines.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/s3\/files\/inline-images\/GettyImages-1235147032.jpg?itok=W_52FvMZ\" data-image-external-href=\"\" data-image-href=\"\/s3\/files\/inline-images\/GettyImages-1235147032.jpg?itok=W_52FvMZ\" data-link-option=\"0\"><picture><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"inline-images image-style-inline-images\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.zerohedge.com\/s3fs-public\/styles\/inline_image_mobile\/public\/inline-images\/GettyImages-1235147032.jpg?itok=W_52FvMZ\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" data-entity-type=\"file\" data-entity-uuid=\"2bb9a780-78bd-4cb8-b3e0-5f856055465e\" data-responsive-image-style=\"inline_images\" \/><\/picture><\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"Advert_desktop__1J5vD Advert_tablet__3QEBr Advert_mobile__1rlLc Advert_placement__1I4yb Advert_align__N0_fw\">\n<aside id=\"in-content-video\" class=\"Advert_verticallySpaced__wnPy3\">\n<div id=\"google_ads_iframe_\/21841313772,21778456762\/zerohedge\/in_content_video_0__container__\"><\/div>\n<\/aside>\n<\/div>\n<p>GOP Representative Mark Green of Tennessee\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.congress.gov\/117\/bills\/hr4350\/BILLS-117hr4350rh.pdf\">proposed an amendment<\/a>\u00a0this week to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA)\u00a0that would prohibit \u201cany discharge but honorable\u201d for troops who refuse vaccines.<\/p>\n<p>The White House responded with a statement noting \u201cThe Administration strongly opposes section 716,\u201d reasoning that it\u00a0<strong>would \u201cdetract from readiness and limit a commander\u2019s options for enforcing good order and discipline when a Service member fails to obey a lawful order to receive a vaccination.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The statement added \u201cTo enable a uniformed force to fight with discipline, commanders must have the ability to give orders and take appropriate disciplinary measures.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Responding to the statement, Rep. Green said\u00a0<em><strong>\u201cI am appalled that the Biden Administration is trying to remove my amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act that prevents anything but an honorable discharge for service members who refuse to get the COVID-19 vaccine.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Green added \u201cThis was a bipartisan amendment \u2014 every Democrat on the House Armed Services Committee agreed to it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>\u201cNo American who raises their hand to serve our Nation should be punished for making a highly personal medical decision,\u201d\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>Green previously urged.<\/p>\n<p>Another section of the bill, 720, proposes that troops who have previously had COVID-19 should be exempted from a vaccine mandate.
