She has received a letter from\u00a0UCHealth telling her that doctors at the hospital\u00a0refuse to perform surgery on her because she is \u201cnon-compliant\u201d about getting the vaccine.<\/b><\/p>\n Lutali says she knows the risks and is willing to sign a waiver about the possible negative outcomes of her surgery. \u201cIt\u2019s surgery, it\u2019s invasive. I\u2019m not sure why I can\u2019t sign a waiver for the COVID shot,\u201d says Lutali.<\/b><\/p>\n Lutali is not on a waiting list<\/a> to receive a kidney ahead of children or other individuals. She will be getting a transplant with the help of her friend, Jaimee Fougner, who is ready and willing to donate her kidney.
