{"id":93499,"date":"2021-11-01T08:48:50","date_gmt":"2021-11-01T12:48:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/stateofthenation.co\/?p=93499"},"modified":"2021-11-01T08:56:33","modified_gmt":"2021-11-01T12:56:33","slug":"the-dangerous-dr-fauci-exposed-by-government-insider","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stateofthenation.co\/?p=93499","title":{"rendered":"<h2 >&#8220;The Dangerous Dr. Fauci&#8221; Exposed by Trump Admin Insider<\/h2>"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1><strong>Trump aide Peter Navarro exposes the dangerous Dr. Fauci: Devine<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p><!--more-->By Miranda Devine<br \/>\nThe New York Post<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/players.brightcove.net\/4137224153001\/6aIMRO3kiI_default\/index.html?videoId=6279756685001\" width=\"618\" height=\"348\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Anthony Fauci is in for a shellacking Tuesday when a bombshell new book by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2021\/01\/24\/dr-fauci-needs-to-be-held-responsible-for-mistakes-devine\/\">former Trump economic adviser Peter Navarro lands<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn Trump Time, A Journal of America\u2019s Plague Year,\u201d is a rollicking personal diary studded with insider confidences, and it sets its sights squarely on the chief medical adviser to the president.<\/p>\n<p>Navarro writes that Fauci did \u201cmore damage to this nation, President Trump and the world than anyone else this side of the Bat Lady of Wuhan.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He holds Fauci accountable for \u201ceverything from the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2021\/10\/21\/faucis-agency-admits-it-funded-gain-of-function-work-in-wuhan-what-else-are-they-keeping-from-us\/\">Wuhan lab gain-of-function catastrophe<\/a>\u00a0and suppression of low-cost therapeutics such as hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin to the political, partisan and deadly delay in delivering the Trump vaccines to the American people.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Fauci\u2019s sins included not telling Trump or the coronavirus task force that he knew the Wuhan lab was conducting risky\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2021\/10\/21\/nih-admits-us-funded-gain-of-function-in-wuhan-despite-faucis-repeated-denials\/\">gain-of- function research<\/a>\u00a0on bat coronaviruses, nor that he had helped fund it.<\/p>\n<p>It was Fauci who \u201cwent behind the back of the Trump White House in 2017 to lift the ban on dangerous \u2018gain-of-function\u2019 experiments. It was Fauci\u2019s agency . . . that helped fund and orchestrate such . . . experiments at a bioweapons lab in Wuhan, China, where the pandemic almost certainly originated. And it was Fauci who, as we now know from a trove of [his] e-mails, was being told as early as January 31, 2020, that the virus was likely engineered.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Navarro recounts the day Trump assigned him a task \u201che believed was essential to saving hundreds of thousands, perhaps millions, of American lives.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Trump told him, \u201cI\u2019m taking down all flights coming into the US from China. It\u2019ll rattle the markets, and Biden and the left will hit me hard. But the virus looks like it might be bad, and we need to do it. So, get that task force behind me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Navarro first saw Fauci in the Situation Room on Jan. 27, 2020: \u201cWhen I looked into his eyes, he promptly averted [my] gaze.\u201d Soon, they were in a heated argument over whether to ban travel to China. Days earlier, Fauci had told WABC radio\u2019s John Catsimatidis that the Wuhan virus was \u201ca very, very low risk.\u201d In the Situation Room, he \u201cechoed that sentiment.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve studied travel restrictions many, many times and [they] don\u2019t work,\u201d said Fauci.<\/p>\n<p>Navarro: \u201cYou mean to tell me if China is sending us over 20,000 passengers a day . . . some of whom may have escaped from the Ground Zero of Wuhan, that there is no risk that some of these passengers will seed and spread the virus?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Fauci: \u201cIn my experience, travel restrictions don\u2019t work.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>And on they went.<\/p>\n<p>In the end, Navarro prevailed.
