READ HERE: High-ranking FBI agent Timothy Thibault reportedly resigned after coming under congressional scrutiny after FBI whistleblowers accused him of suspected political bias related to suppressing Hunter Biden’s laptop computer. Thibault was also accused of pressuring agents to reclassify cases as “domestic violent extremism.” In addition, Mr. Thibault was reportedly known for pushing out unvaccinated agents from the FBI’s election squad whom he suspected to be Trump supporters. Former President Trump said that Thibault was the person who got the FBI to do a raid at his home, Mar-a-Lago. Critic Miranda Devine wrote that Thibault will retire with a pension of $80,000 per year as 99% of the FBI’s $10 billion budget is used for salaries and expenses and “can accommodate pensioning off those who might disclose dirty laundry to the IG.” The author of this article wrote that while Thibault was likely nothing more than Chris Wray and Merrick Garland’s puppet, it is extremely rare for someone at the FBI to be held even marginally accountable.
