Nancy Pelosi For Prez=NOT!

Judge Nap has it half right: the Speaker of the House on January 20. 2021 is likely to become the next president of the US. But I doubt it will be Nancy Pelosi as he predicts:

The country is rapidly falling apart. Divisiveness and incivility are close to civil war levels with citizens feeling justified using weapons to slaughter those with different beliefs as we just saw in Portland.
The Democratic strategy to destroy the Trump presidency has failed at every level since it was implemented in 2015, shortly after he announced his candidacy.
But their unrelenting attacks on all things Trump is likely to pay-off by November 3rd as their disruption tactics prevent any meaningful results to the general election. It will be death by a thousand cuts of the despised incumbent.
Worse than the Bush-Gore fiasco of 2000, the Biden-Trump stand-off of 2020 is extremely unlikely to produce a clear winner as a host of issues unfold to block the normal electoral results.
With no one garnering a majority of the electoral votes, the Constitution appears to mandate that the Speaker of the House will take the helm of the Ship of State, if only on a “temporary” basis.
That’s what Judge Nap outlines and he is probably correct. But the muck and mayhem of modernity that creates that result may not proceed to have Pelosi emerge as the chosen one.
Simply put, with everyone and their uncle now on to the Dem’s tactics, the fight for Speaker will take on a whole new hue for whichever party captures the majority. With such a valuable prized to be won, there is no guarantee that Pelosi will prevail despite her current status even if the Democrats keep control of the lower chamber.
The young progressives who have seen the old-guard DNC crowd of Hillary, Nancy and Joe steal the nomination from their beloved Bernie are likely to have a large contingent of new members even with a decrepit Biden leading the ticket.
That means the AOC crowd, i. e. the Squad, and others on the Left will eagerly huddle to choose one of their own while gleefully attempting to by-pass the ice-cream loving, hair-cut cheater from what’s left of the once beautiful San Francisco.
Adding to the already ugly spectacle unfolding in the months before votes are cast will be the struggle to designate the new Speaker with the full knowledge that he or she will soon be president.
It’s an unspeakable mess, a constitutional crisis not seen or even imagined before this year. But as the days are marked off in the 9 weeks remaining until November 3rd, the unraveling of the body politic will be obvious to all in a display of antipathy and Machivellian manipulations the Founders did not foresee and even pundits like Judge Nap failed to consider.
Who will it be? I have no idea. But my intuition tells me it will NOT be Pelosi. Hold onto your hats: rough ride ahead!
