BOMBSHELL Letter Sent by 3 House Committee Chairmen to AG Garland regarding DoJ’s Burgeoning IRS Whistleblower Scandal

Submitted by a Veteran Political Analyst

As a result of an IRS whistleblower’s revelations to the House Ways and Means Committee regarding the potential involvement of the President of the United States participation in an influence peddling scheme with foreign nations, three House Committees with shared jurisdiction have written to Attorney General Merrick Garland identifying eleven Federal employees who the Committees have named as individuals with “information concerning allegations of politicization and misconduct with respect to the Department’s investigation of Hunter Biden.”

The Committees informed AG Garland that they are requesting personal interviews with each of the eleven individuals to be conducted by Committee staff investigators.

The letter cites Congress’ “broad and indispensable” power to conduct oversight, which “encompasses inquiries into the administration of existing laws, studies of proposed laws, and surveys in our social, economic or political system for the purpose of enabling Congress to remedy them.”

Signed by the Chairs of the House Oversight, House Judiciary and House Ways and Means Committee requested the interviews to be scheduled asap and no later than July 13th.

If AG Garland choses not to cooperate, he has been informed that a ‘compulsory process’ will be enacted to obtain the necessary testimony.
