Will 2021 Be The Year When Citizens Lock-UP Those Promoting Lock-DOWNS?

The New Year is upon us! 2020 is soon to be a distant memory that most Americans will gladly say good riddance to.
We have endured much but there is a “dark winter” ahead of us according to Joe Biden, the man who claims to have won this year’s presidential election.
That conclusion is in dispute by the incumbent, Donald Trump and millions of his supporters.
But the crisis facing America today is not about Trump or Biden: it’s about the future of our Republic and the Constitution that created it.
Irrespective of who sits in the Oval Office a few weeks from now, whether it be Biden, Trump or even Kamala Harris, the issues related to governing hundreds of millions of our citizens go far beyond personality or political affiliation.
The fabric of society has been sundered by a variety of factors all of which have been exacerbated by the impact of technology. The country I grew up in no longer exists and that is okay with me as long as basic notions of freedom and liberty are preserved.
The populism that surged to make Trump president in 2016 and almost got Bernie Sanders nominated twice to be his Democratic opponent, represents the true essence of what America is all about.
Trump failed to drain the swamp as promised during his first campaign. The Deep State has attacked him fiercely for his entire term up to this very moment where his future may well be decided on January 6 when Congress meets to certify the Electoral College vote.
The moment of truth is fast arising: will the American people finally say no to the lock down which has smashed their rights to speak, assemble, attend church, travel and earn an honest living?
Will they finally rise up in their collective disgust for the leadership of both parties and throw off the yoke of tyranny that has tightened around their necks for decades by those promoting unending wars based on lies, a corrupt financial system and an Orwellian system of fake news by the MainStream Media?
It is up to us, We The People, to take back our country and re-establish our individual and collective sovereignty. If we fail to do so, if we fail to Lock UP those promoting a despotic effort to Lock DOWN our liberty, then we will have forfeited the legacy of freedom we inherited by those who came before as well as undermined those treasured rights for our progeny.
The choice remains for each of us. Destiny is in our hands and history will record how we acted in these hours of greatest challenge.
