On 28 April 2021 we received a joint document from the Medical Council of New Zealand and the Dental Council of New Zealand (MCNZ) titled: ‘Guidance statement COVID-19 vaccine and your professional responsibility’, which stated that as a health practitioner we “have a role in providing evidence-based advice and information about the covid-19 vaccination to others” .
Since then we have attempted to clarify what exactly they were directing us to do and what actions they would take if we did not comply. We are still waiting for a response However the chair of the MCNZ, Dr Curtis Walker, has spoken publicly, implying formal investigation and potential deregistration of practitioners that do not recommend the vaccine to their patients. At NZDSOS, our members sees the ‘Guidance’ as a breach of our professional responsibility to our patients and the New Zealand public, as well as a breach of the Council’s own guidelines on informed consent. We believe the ‘Guidance’ is designed to intimidate practitioners by implying consequences for their continued registration and thus their livelihood. We further see this as a thinly veiled attempt to make us instruments of the state and to interfere with our professional oath, obligations to the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003 and our responsibility to inform our patients and the NZ public about all aspects of the current situation regarding covid-19, including the mass injection programme with an experimental product that is currently heavily promoted by the current government with what can at best be described as truncated consent.
We further see this as a breach of our fundamental rights under the Nuremberg Code, the UNESCO Universal Declaration on Bioethics and Human Rights, and the NZ Bill of Rights Act 1990. In fact many measures taken by the authorities in the last 15 months have breached human rights and some have now proven to be illegally carried out.
When challenged the government unilaterally change the legislation.
The justification being that this is the worst health crisis in a century, which we now know to be false. But it seems that few have dared to question their claims, with even judges making political statements to justify the illegal actions of the government. There is indeed a crisis, but one that is driven by manipulation, coercion by implication, drastic public policy that lack scientific support and an ongoing fear campaign by the government and the media.
We have also received many reports of people being coerced into getting the Pfizer injection. This coercion has taken various forms; implication of potential adverse consequences for them such as:
threat to employment
social interactions
and ability to travel freely
being repeatedly asked if they had been ‘vaccinated’ or if they were planning to be.
People in New Zealand have been sacked for upholding their basic right to refuse a medical procedure. We also know of many of our colleagues who are privately supporting our efforts but are scared to make this public because of this climate of fear and implied coercion. Others have contacted us who have suffered severe adverse effects after receiving the injection(s), but they are terrified of their names being revealed publicly. For instance, we are supporting one injured colleague whose return to work conditions imposed by the Medical Council include her not speaking publicly about her severe vaccine reaction, presumably for fear of damaging the relentless narrative.
Meanwhile the government has, so far, failed to approve any alternative to vaccination for covid-19 , in spite of scientific evidence.
For example when we recently asked Medsafe to approve Ivermectin for the treatment of covid-19 they replied: Only the sponsor company of the Ivermectin product can make an application to Medsafe for the COVID-19 indication. The sponsor company for the Ivermectin product is Merck Sharp & Dohme (New Zealand) Limited.
Ironically the same Medsafe breached the law when granting provisional consent to Pfizer Comirnaty. Clearly Medsafe and the government could easily amend their own rules and approve Ivermectin for the treatment of covid-19, if they really wanted to – If Medsafe was really about health and what is best to protect the people of New Zealand from covid-19. We believe they would also promote clinically-proven measures such as maintaining adequate levels of Vitamin D, C and zinc.

We only received a small number of automated replies and only one response from Stuart Nash, MP for Napier and Minister for Economic and Regional Development, Forestry, Small Business and Tourism, stating “The matter you have raised falls within the portfolio responsibilities of the Minister for covid-19. I have therefore referred your email for information to Hon Chris Hipkins. “ The current government and a mostly silent or supportive political opposition and mass media are involved in what we see as mass propaganda, ignoring the accumulating evidence of adverse effects from the vaccine and openly encouraging the public to report anyone who provides ‘incorrect’ information – The government is seemingly the only arbiter on this matter. It is well known that the prime minister has stated publicly that her government will continue to be our single source of truth in decisions related to covid-19 (https://www.youtube.com/
Scientific evidence as well as highly credible voices from experts in various fields of science and medicine are either ignored, censured or attacked via the media. Any information that detracts from the fear-inducing narrative is pushed aside and rarely, if ever, mentioned by public officials. The same seems to apply, in reverse, to any information that would negatively impact the promotion of the unprecedented mass injection with an experimental product selected by our government. The manufacturer Pfizer-BioNtech and associated persons have received a full indemnity signed by the current Minister of Finance, thus placing the entire burden for future litigation of adverse effects from this type of genetic therapy on the people of New Zealand.
An example of evidence that has not made the headlines in NZ is recently published scientific evidence about the pathogenic nature of the spike proteins, the wide bio distribution of the Pfizer lipid nanoparticles within the body of the vaccinee (targeting especially the ovaries), the presence of these spike proteins in the bloodstream after the injections, as well as the increasing cases of adverse effects, including death, following inoculation. The latest total of deaths reported to official mechanisms in the US and EU have exceeded 25 000 at the time of writing, but these long-standing referral systems have been proven consistently to under-report, especially of non-lethal injuries. This has greatly increased our concerns for the safety of our fellow citizens. Recently, 50% of those in Israel who became infected had received both Pfizer inoculations, raising serious questions about the effectiveness of the product*. This issue has also been questioned by highly credible experts. The level of severe adverse events in Israel is alarming and they are now seeing cases of sudden death in young adults, mostly males, 2 to 3 months after their injections.

After repeated attempts at communication with various government officials, including Medsafe, the Director General of Health, all elected members of the New Zealand parliament and the Medical Council of New Zealand, we have been instead the object of attacks via the media, or our serious concerns have been noted and dismissed. We have thus concluded that the government is not willing to engage with our concerns.
Chief Human Right Commissioner Hunt, based on this evidence, we are sincere in our belief that many of our basic rights are under threat. We are advocating for the human rights of all New Zealanders, which are being breached by the complete disregard to the principles of informed consent in order to promote injections of an untested experimental novel gene therapy under threat of job loss, inability to travel and have a normal life. A captured and compliant media parrots the ‘safe and effective’ narrative and the hypothetical savings of lives based on flawed statistics and/or flawed computer modelling, whilst also suppressing information about life-saving covid-19 treatments. Those who intend to exercise their right to withhold consent for themselves or their children are being targeted and, we suspect, may be relegated to second class citizens if the situation continues.
We are particularly concerned by recent chilling statements by government ministers to the effect that the last remaining dissenters will be vaccinated “by whatever means necessary”. This suggests that the current government’s path has parted company sharply from the democratic mandate it was given at the last election.
In justifying the severity of its dictates around lockdowns and mask wearing, and now with the relentless momentum of the ‘vaccine’ roll-out which leaves many people with, frankly, zero chance of autonomous decision-making, this government claims that its (in our view) lurch to totalitarianism is justified by the “unprecedented” pandemic and imminent danger to all New Zealanders. In our letters and submissions, with appropriate references and evidence, we have shown this is exaggerated, and given that the fatality rate of covid-19 infection is similar to our frequent winter influenza outbreaks, instigating and inciting public fear is cruel, while suppressing open debate is inconsistent with the principles of a fair and open society.
The history of the 20th century shows repeatedly that the trajectories to totalitarianism gave precious few opportunities for citizens to notice, react and push back in time to save their societies, such that more than 100 million people were murdered by their own governments. We fear that much of our nation – including many of our colleagues and politicians – might be in collective thrall to a deliberate ‘Stockholm syndrome’, and suffering cognitive dissonance and a surrender their critical faculties that is being exploited to accept this novel gene therapy, the immediate toll from which is already MUCH higher than the public is being told. We are collecting our own data which suggests at least 38 deaths that would demand immediate and painstaking investigation of a possible connection. We are receiving multiple reports of problems with the CARM reporting system, and have experienced some of these first-hand. Our children are at almost zero risk from covid-19 and yet, based on overseas events, it seems that there are plans to inject children and pregnant women, with a product that has ZERO data about medium to long term risks. Eminent vaccine researchers and medical experts around the world are demanding that the mass injection campaigns be stopped immediately before untold harm is done. These people are censored and de-platformed by social media platforms, and ignored by mainstream media.
If the hard-won human rights enshrined in our Bill of Rights, the HDC Code, the Nuremberg Code, the UNESCO Declaration, the Declaration of Helsinki and the Hippocratic Oath are still relevant and valuable, then we implore you to act to ensure that our elected representatives, government and institutions remember their responsibilities to ensure all New Zealanders’ rights are advanced. We are concerned that the government has been captured by companies that are seeking profit over concern for health.
We therefore ask for your involvement in this urgent matter with regards to the individuals involved and the agencies involved, including Medsafe, the Director General of Health, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry for COVID-19 Response, the Ministry of Finance, the Prime Minister, the Medical Council of New Zealand and the Dental Council of New Zealand. We understand this will be no small undertaking and we offer to support you however we can.
