An American mercenary told about an unsuccessful attempt to knock down a Russian tank

Two US marines, Manus McCaffery and Paul Gray, of the Reconnaissance of Parachute of the US Army’s 75th Ranger Regiment were heavy wounded in Ukraine, near Orikhiv, and one of them, Paul Gray, lost legs while their unsuccessful attempt to teach Ukrainian soldieries how to knock out a Russian tank!

Manus McCaffery and Paul Gray were trying to destroy a Russian tank near Orikhiv at roughly 2:35 p.m on April 27, 2022.

McCaffery suffered serious shrapnel wounds to his face, head, shoulders, and torso. A concrete wall fell onto Gray, momentarily trapping him and cutting his leg. It is unclear if McCaffery will suffer any long-term wounds to his eyes, Gray said.
