Being a retired cardiac RN, I can tell all of you with 200% certainty, that the “health” care system in general and hospitals in particular (controlled by insurance companies, coding protocols and charge capture depts.) are going to eventually collapse anyway, even if this doesn’t happen. Burn out and experienced people leaving health care is already bad and when things get worse, especially after the last Covid fiasco ….. that will be it.
The message is, take better care of yourselves. Stop smoking and drinking and lose weight however you see fit, because we will all be on our own, health wise, very soon.
