The situation is dramatic – Unprecedented move by Zelensky

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky recently delivered a speech to Russia and its President V. Putin.
The first half of the sermon was in Ukrainian while the second half was in Russian.
Clearly charged and anxious as the war draws to a close, the President of Ukraine proceeded with an unprecedented event:
For the first time, a president of a country makes a speech that is clearly addressed to the president of another country and to the West!
Characteristic of the situation and the extremely difficult position of the Ukrainians is the order that came from the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs “that the Ukrainian soldiers should not react to any Russian provocation, especially on the line of contact.”
In short, the Ukrainian ED received orders of ” strategic composure”!
What Zelensky said in the sermon
Zelensky spoke for 13 minutes and moved on 3 axes:
- He spoke about the readiness of the Ukrainian ED
- The situation as it is shaped by the Russian forces on the border.
- The support of Ukraine from other countries.
He said in detail
“I will tell you honestly about the situation facing Ukraine
My country does not want a war with Russia but is prepared to defend itself.
My country is in the 8th year of the war. I need alliances and allies to accept Ukraine as a partner.
Ukraine is the stronghold of the West against Russian aggression .
Ukraine and Russia, despite their common past, see the future differently.
We are us and you are you.
But this is not necessarily a problem, it is an opportunity. We must stop counting the dead before it is too late.
Mr Putin, I’m ready to go further and invite you to meet wherever you want in Donbass, Ukraine, where the war is going on.
It is impossible to bring peace with tanks!
