(4/9/2021 AAP – Factcheck For Social Media) Professor’s vaccine ‘sterilisation’ comment used out of context to mislead.
During the inerview, Professor Sir John Bell said: “These vaccines are unlikely to completely sterilize a population”
Professor Bell has confirmed to AAP FactCheck that his comments were about sterilisation from the COVID-19 virus and had nothing to do with fertility. The implication that he said COVID-19 vaccines will cause fertility issues is misleading.
There is no evidence to suggest any COVID-19 vaccines cause infertility, and related claims have been repeatedly debunked.

12/12/2020 – Study investigates effects of COVID-19 vaccine on male fertility
In the video interview, Dr. Ranjith Ramasamy claimed the vaccine was approved under EUA (Emergency Use Authorization) and was never tested for effects on male fertility.

6/17/2021 – (STUDY) Sperm Parameters Before and After COVID-19 mRNA Vaccination
Discussion
In this study of sperm parameters before and after 2 doses of a COVID-19 mRNA vaccine, there were no significant decreases in any sperm parameter among this small cohort of healthy men. Because the vaccines contain mRNA and not the live virus, it is unlikely that the vaccine would affect sperm parameters. While these results showed statistically significant increases in all sperm parameters, the magnitude of change is within normal individual variation and may be influenced by regression to the mean. Additionally, the increase may be due to the increased abstinence time before the second sample. Men with oligospermia did not experience further decline.
The limitations of the study include the small number of men enrolled; limited generalizability beyond young, healthy men; short follow-up; and lack of a control group. In addition, while semen analysis is the foundation of male fertility evaluation, it is an imperfect predictor of fertility potential. Despite this, the study’s time frame encompasses the full life cycle of sperm.

Centner Academy, a private school in Miami, has made international headlines for directing its employees who have not yet received the experimental COVID-19 vaccine, to wait until the end of the school year, as a precautionary step to protect the health of their school community, given both concerning new anecdotal reports that the vaccinated can adversely affect the health of the un-vaccinated, and that that clinical safety and efficacy data for the mRNA vaccines will not be completed until sometime in 2023.
Thus far, mainstream media reporting has focused and railed against the following statement made by Leila Centner, co-founder and CEO of Centner Academy, to her employees (in an internal email later leaked to the press) as being the most controversial and contestable:
“Tens of thousands of women all over the world have recently been reporting adverse reproductive issues simply from being in close proximity with those who have received any one of the COVID-19 injections, e.g., irregular menses, bleeding, miscarriages, post-menopausal hemorrhaging, and amenorrhea (complete loss of menstruation).
No one knows exactly what may be causing these irregularities, but it appears that those who have received the injections may be transmitting something from their bodies to those with whom they come in contact. Until more is known, we must err on the side of caution when it comes to the welfare of our students and the school
