The Logan Act bars private citizens from conducting foreign policy. It sure looks to this
pilgrim as if that’s exactly what Jared Kushner is doing with Qatar:

Qatar has played a key role in the region for years, being home to a major US base and
having a leader who helped Trump negotiate the Abraham Accords.
With the war in Gaza raging, PM Al Thani has emerged again in the effort to stop the killing and release the hostages.
Kushner has assembled potential investors to develop post-war Gaza. Few realize that even more important than the deep religious motives fueling the conflict are the economic factors behind the scenes that include the Gaza oil fields and the Ben Gurion Canal.

The War in Gaza can readily be characterized as a vast urban renewal project, one element of the long planned ME Marshal Plan to transform the area into high-tech, futuristic Smart Cities championed by MbS and Jared.
Bibi/Israel call it The Bunting Cloverleaf, their version of the Great Reset that they hope to dominate by virtue of “cyber, the domain of power” that Netanyahu has bragged about for years.
The usual suspects are lining up at the financial trough to take advantage of the coming deluge of resources that will likely flow their way as part of the inevitable “peace deal!”
The presence of the former president’s family is telling on many levels and suggests a quiet understanding that the former and soon to be re-elected Trump is in charge with Biden hoping that his compliance in the face of his massive criminality will allow Donald to go easy on him like he did with Hillary.
It’s of course, just speculation but as is now clear to almost all, it’s the oligarchs who run the show in the modern world with “democracy” being at best a rubber stamp to allow the wars and secret deals to be worked out by the elite, not unlike what I just witnessed in early 19th century Europe during the Napoleonic Wars so impressively captured by Ridley Scott in his latest masterpiece.
Let’s watch carefully as the ordeal works itself out with Gaza depopulated and as the ambitious plans of the powerful come to fruition at the expense of the weak and innocent. https://stateofthenation.co/?p=197423
